Welcome to the social hub for First Comber Presbyterian Church. Here we'll do our best to update you on the latest news and events from Church.
We also have a range of 'facebook groups' listed under the 'groups' tab for Youth. Feel free to have a look! A bit like us, our story is not complicated. We're a community of everyday people who want to follow Jesus, His message and His example. We have lots going on for everyone. Whether you’re a family, single, very young, or not so young – you will find something to help you feel a part of God’s family here. As well as fun, we enjoy looking after each other - particularly through prayer. Our Sunday Service is a genuine blend of both contemporary and traditional. Our worship band, choir, children’s church and talks endeavour to engage everyone and enhance our worship of God. We strive to be, but probably do not always get it right: friendly, loving, accepting and supportive, so that people will be drawn to Jesus and His name honoured. First Comber isn't just about Sundays. So whether it's 5-a-side, Girls Brigade or Boys Brigade, Mums and Tots, Hill Walking, Life-Groups, Prayer Meetings or Golf we have somewhere you can start your First Comber adventure. Coffee morning tomorrow (Saturday) to support First Comber Young Life - held at Granshaw.
As Dan mentioned a few weeks ago, he’s hosting a coffee morning tomorrow at Granshaw Presbyterian to give people an opportunity to support the work of Younglife in the area.
Currently our partnership with Younglife sees 3 youth workers each week investing in our young people. From coffees out with them, to small groups, to Sunday night club - Young Life has continued to invest more and more in our young people.
We now have over 100 teenagers signed up to First Comber Younglife and already this year 50-60 turning up each Sunday night.
So, even if you can’t go please grab Dan or Aaron next time you see them and give if you can. All of it goes into funding the next coffee with one of our young people, the next prize at club, the next Bible given to young people making their first commitment to follow Christ.

This Friday night at first!! We’re delighted that Damian Wharton will be joining us. Damian is the big boss at Scripture Union Northern Ireland. He’s a regular MainStage speaker at festivals across the UK and we’re delighted he’ll be with us this Friday to share.
Eating starts at 6:30pm with worship and Damian sharing from 7pm!

Ever thought about church? Ever considered going? Do you go sometimes? Do you go all the time?
Church is for everyone, there’s no rules, no conventions, in fact it’s meant to be the place where you can come as you are - good form, bad form, whatever form!
This Sunday we gather for communion. The definition of communion is a group of people gathering to share. So, whether it’s the bread and w**e, the coffee or a good story we’d love to see you in person.
