This trailer features a tough Hardox steel body, Hyva ram, SAF axles & Jost landing legs, giving MJ Palmer Transport a trailer built for strength, durability & reliable performance load after load.

Johnson’s Aggregates Collect Their First New ‘ScrapPipe’! 🚛🔥

Yesterday afternoon, the Johnson’s Aggregates team visited our Derby depot to collect the first of their brand new artic tipper fleet!

After arriving at the yard, the team hitched up their new Colson 68yd³ ‘ScrapPipe’ tipping trailer, ready to head home & get to work. 🚛💨

Designed as the ideal hybrid, the ‘ScrapPipe’ combines the functionality of a halfpipe with the extra capacity of our 80yd³ 'Scrapbox', creating a versatile tipper built for a huge range of applications.

This new unit features a 4mm Hardox 450 steel body, S700MC steel chassis, Edbro lift ram, Jost landing legs, rear barn doors, VWS WiFi weigher & a choice of Flip front to back or side to side sheeting systems. Its biggest advantage is the hybrid halfpipe design, keeping the load lower & more centralised within the body. This helps promote a more even haul, improve stability & provide greater control when tipping, making the ‘ScrapPipe’ a practical choice for operators handling a wide range of materials.

From aggregates & muck to scrap, recycling, trommel fines, shredded general waste, oversized scrap & more, the ‘ScrapPipe’ has been designed with versatility at its core.

Part 2 of the transformation is here, as Lewis Onemancommercialpainting, our in-house spray booth technician, gets back to work on this brand new Colson 45yd³ ‘Semi Bulker’ for BP Mitchell Ltd.

After removing the factory stickers & stripping back the original grey finish in Part 1, Lewis starts by re-sanding the sides before giving the trailer a thorough clean down, making sure everything is ready for paint.

With the preparation complete, it’s time for the primer & topcoat to go down, bringing the Ford Frozen White finish to life & giving this brand new trailer a fresh new look. 👀🔥

Adorned in Titan Concrete’s custom company livery, the trailer was collected by their fully branded tractor unit, creating a seriously smart combination! 🔥🚛 The pair are now heading back to Newcastle, ready to join the Titan Concrete fleet!

Spray Painting A Brand New Trailer 🚛🎨🖌️

In this video, Lewis , our in-house spray booth technician, gets started on a brand new Colson 45yd³ ‘Semi Bulker’ tipper trailer, preparing it for a custom respray in Ford Frozen White.

Before any paint can go down, the preparation has to be right. Lewis starts by removing the factory stickers and stripping back the original grey factory finish from the body, before sanding & prepping the trailer to a high standard.

With a brand new trailer, getting the surface properly prepared is key to achieving the best possible finish for the customer. This is where the transformation begins!

Built for high volume haulage, the Semi Bulker combines our tough steel halfpipe design with extra capacity, making it ideal for demanding loads including aggregates, muck & rock. This unit comes equipped with a Hardox steel body, Hyva ram, SAF axles & air suspension, Jost landing legs, Wabco EBS, Aspock electrics and super singles, giving BP Mitchell a trailer built for strength, reliability & plenty of hard work.

Part 3 | And That's a Wrap - Convoy In The Park 🚛📸🔥

We've got one more selection of photos from our fantastic weekend at Donington Park , showcasing even more of the incredible trucks, trailers & setups at the showthat made the event one to remember.

From & units to impressive trucks from Collins Earthworks Ltd , Dromgoole & Sons, Chris Hayles, LA_LightBars Ltd & Chrome North West, there was no shortage of fantastic machinery on display throughout the weekend. There was also the Keltruck Scania stage setup adding to the atmosphere across the showground!

A huge thank you once again to everyone who joined us, brought their trucks along, visited the stand, grabbed some food & refreshments, or simply stopped by for a chat. It was a brilliant weekend from start to finish, and we're already looking forward to doing it all again!
