Motherhood is a touching and hilarious one woman show from Oddsocks Productions that shines a light on the realities of family life, from juggling responsibilities and chasing ambitions to navigating the wonderfully unpredictable world of parenting.

A Message from the Oddsocks Documentary team!

Hello wonderful donors! We hope you have had a glorious summer!

Thank you for your donations and your patience on this project. Whilst we have been quite quiet on the outside, lots of progress has been made behind the scenes!

As you are all aware this is a labour of love and not the work I (Charlie) am trained to do so everything takes longer, more research, more learning and unfortunately like every freelancer I have to divide my time wisely and find work to pay my bills!

I have been doing some very exciting prop making projects and continue to work with Oddsocks as Assistant Producer, alongside co-directing a new original community play in Belper!

Stef has been working hard at his day job and finding time (however limited) to developing his documentary projects as well as this one!

We also have brought in a couple of new members to the team! Video Editor Amir Rehman and Graphic Designer Mathilda Preater (An Oddsocks Baby!)

We have managed to finish the last key interviews which will be featured in the upcoming trailer and short film!

We want to know what you would like to see going forward? What information would you like to know?

Keep your eyes peeled for more details and content coming soon and keep sharing this fundraiser!

Oddsocks have been performing for nearly 40 years! In that time we have worked with hundreds of wonderful actors and entertained thousands of Audience members with the joy of Shakespeare and a number of fantastic stories! We have created our own original plays (eg Florence Nightingale: the lady with the Hammer and Motherhood (touring this November))

We have toured Romeo & Juliet several times over the years and we have so many wonderful stories to share from each production!

Here is one particular anecdote from Andrew McGillan who played Friar in our 2009 winter tour of R&J!

Who remembers that one?
