Derby HO Racing Club

Finally the result from the 6 1st Nanpantan Scout Group Leaders who raced over the two days.

Congrats to Ian Jordan for taking the win.

Again with thanks to José Borges, John Lamb, Nick Sismey and Dave Trantom we later in the evening on 23Sep26 we hosted our second group of Scouts from 1st Nanpantan Scout Group for a full race meeting with our HO Bulldog chassied Lexan Porsche 924s.

Congratulations to Ernie Aust for taking the win from Pole sitter Bella Jordan with Annabelle Bailey in third.

Again a big thank you to Joe Putt for inviting us for two exciting evenings of racing.

With thanks to José Borges (who had brought his own DIY noise cancelling devices 😆), John Lamb, Nick Sismey and Dave Trantom our second night at the 1st Nanpantan Scout Group running a 4-lane track for the Beavers went down a treat.

The lady (name to be added) in charge of the Beavers ensured they all had several two-minute runs each and then organised two team events which went down so well.

We then had the Scouts again later on who ran in a full race simulation, covered in the next few posts.

We have two days to go until Race Day 1 of our busy weekend racing on our 145’3” Carrera Digital Road America on Friday 25Sep26 from 6pm.

With thanks again to José Borges, Phil Rees and Nick Sismey, after the 1st Nanpantan Scout Group Beavers had had their fun we turned our attention to the older Scouts (10 and a half to 14 years) where we ran a full race meeting for 21 of them between 19:45 and 21:15 hours.
Each racer ran 4 x 2-minute Qualifing races on each of the four lanes.
The top four qualifiers with the most laps then had a 2-minute Final.
Zosia Trzeciakiewicz took Pole however she has to settle for second in the Final won by Arran Pull, with Remy Flitton taking third. Congratulations all.
