Bar One

Can you believe it’s been NINETEEN years of Bar One. It’s crazy to think we’ve made it and continue to thrive here on little Newland street. Despite the state of hospitality, which we won’t dwell on.
NINETEEN years of drinking, celebrating, partying, grieving, dancing, laughing & crying. We would like to thank ALL of our customers , old & new, because really, we wouldn’t exist without you folks… we raise a glass to you and to those no longer with us.
We’ve always stayed true to our slogan, we really are “a local in the city centre” and we’re very proud that lots of you consider us your local.
A massive heartfelt thankyou to ALL our staff, past & present, we truly couldn’t function without your support and feel like we’re more family than workmates.
It’s a weird one this year as it’s our first birthday without the main guy, ofcourse we mean Buddy, a HUGE part of Bar One and eternally missed.
We hope you can pop in today / tonight to help us celebrate, there will be cake, shots & karaoke!
Here’s to another year and ROLL ON TWENTY!!!

Much love Nick # # #
