If you’ve ever wandered through Doncaster Market and found yourself wondering why there’s people smiling, chatting and generally enjoying life you’ve probably stumbled across The Gentleman Fishmonger.

Customers perch at the chef’s bench, chat with the team, watch dishes being prepared and leave wondering why every market doesn’t have something similar.

Fabulous Fish Friday

A little note for this Saturday…

This Saturday it’ll just be Sarah and me looking after The Gentleman Fishmonger Champagne Bar while Jemmer celebrates her daughter’s graduation (which is far more important than th e crab sanwiches!).

To make sure everyone receives the same relaxed service and beautifully prepared food, we’ll be seating up to six guests at a time rather than our usual ten.

Our menu will be a little smaller than usual, allowing us to focus on preparing everything fresh and properly.

As always, great things come to those who wait, and we’ll do everything we can to make your visit worth it.
