Stronger, faster, more resilientβstrength and conditioning is an essential for female athletes
Lifting heavy isn't enoughβhow you train matters.
Female-specific biomechanics, training load management, and recovery dynamics require individualization.
Utilising Drew Scott and his incredible in-depth knowledge and experience of building and developing female athletes sessions can focus on:
π’Technique: Mastering foundational movement patterns (squat, hinge, push, pull) safely before adding load.
π’Intentional Periodization: Structuring training cycles so athletes peak during key competitions rather than burning out.
π’Tailored Biomechanics: Addressing individual movement imbalances to maximize efficiency and minimize injury risk.
Invest in your strength, guide it with expert coaching, and unlock your true athletic potential.

Project: Run supported athlete Alastair Marshall in clinic for regular testing and monitoring in the build up to his win at the The Monument Mile Classic race.
Squat jumps (SJ) and countermovement jumps (CMJ) are primary vertical jump assessments used in our athlete monitoring to evaluate lower-body neuromuscular status, power production, and fatigue.
The SJ eliminates the stretch-shortening cycle (SSC) by requiring an athlete to start from a held static squat position, isolating concentric power output.
In contrast, the CMJ incorporates a rapid stretch-shortening cycle, capturing the athlete's ability to store and utilize elastic energy.
By regularly testing both jumps, we can track changes in maximal rate of force development and calculate metrics like the Eccentric Utilization Ratio to identify neuromuscular fatigue, monitor training adaptations, and optimize individualized force-velocity profiling.
If you have an interest in our project: run support program please contact the clinic.
