The days can feel long when you're in the thick of parenting.
There's always another job to do, another place to be, another thing on the list.
But sometimes the most important moments are the ones we almost rush past.
The extra cuddle before bed.
The made-up story that goes nowhere.
The walk that takes twice as long because little legs stop to notice everything.
These moments may seem ordinary now, but they are quietly weaving themselves into the memories of childhood.
This July, may we all find a little more space to slow down, stay a little longer, and savour the magic hidden in the everyday. ☀️💛

✨ More than yoga. More than movement. More than just a class. 💛
When Jackie first attended pregnancy yoga herself, she found so much more than stretches and breathing exercises. She found connection, reassurance and a community of parents who truly understood what she was going through.
That experience inspired her to become a teacher and create the same safe, supportive space for others.
Today, Jackie's Pregnancy Yoga and Mummy Yoga classes at Kin Collective are built around the belief that parents deserve care too. Whether you're preparing for birth, recovering after having your baby, or simply craving a moment to breathe, these classes are about reconnecting with yourself as much as moving your body.
💛 Gentle movement
🤍 Breathwork and relaxation
💛 A welcoming community
🤍 Honest conversations
💛 Time to prioritise you
As Jackie says, "Movement should leave you feeling energised, not exhausted."
Our latest blog shares Jackie's story, why community matters during pregnancy and parenthood, and how yoga can become so much more than exercise.

Today, we're thinking of all the fathers and father figures who show up day after day with love, patience, care and support.
The ones reading bedtime stories.
Making packed lunches.
Giving piggyback rides.
Offering reassurance when it's needed most.
The quiet moments matter just as much as the big ones.
We're also holding space for those who may find today difficult.
Those missing their dad.
Those grieving a child.
Those navigating complicated family relationships.
Those longing to become a parent.
Days like today can bring many emotions, and all of them are welcome.
Wherever Father's Day finds you, we hope you're able to find a little gentleness for yourself and those around you.

A little reminder from us at Kin Collective ☀️
As parents, we're often the first to offer encouragement, patience and understanding to everyone around us.
But what if we offered a little of that kindness to ourselves?
This week, notice how you speak to yourself. When things don't go to plan, when you're feeling overwhelmed, or when you're questioning whether you're doing enough.
Try speaking to yourself as you would a friend.
With compassion.
With understanding.
With grace.
Because parenting was never meant to be done perfectly. It was always meant to be done with love. 💛

That Yoga Lass Jackie’s lovely Mummy Yoga & Play class is on Thursday mornings at Kin
Getting back to yoga after having a baby can feel very different, and that’s okay 💜
Mummy Yoga is a safe, supportive space to ease back into movement at your own pace. No pressure, no expectations.
Bring the chaos, the crying, the feeds, the snacks, and the chats in between. Wee ones are always welcome exactly as they are.
Because yoga looks different in this season… and that’s perfectly enough ✨

This Volunteers' Week, we're celebrating the incredible people who give their time, skills, and kindness to support Kin Collective.
Whether you're welcoming families, offering a listening ear, helping behind the scenes, or sharing your experience to support others, you help make Kin the warm, inclusive community it is.
Your contribution reaches far beyond the hours you volunteer. You help parents feel connected, supported, and less alone.
From all of us at Kin Collective, thank you. We are so grateful for everything you do. 💛
