Traditional pub . With a great atmosphere serving real ales . Lagers and lots of other reasonably pr The Roseburn has been a pub since the 1880s.
A lot of the original fixtures remain. It consists of the public bar, the lounge and the jug bar or fly half. The public bar is split into 3 sections by partitions, these sections are called trap1, trap2 and trap3. Each trap is like a different pub in itself with many customers sticking to certain areas, this can lead to some healthy rivalry. Many moons ago women were only allowed in the jug bar, they were served through a hatch leading from the bar, there was no female toilet!

As many of you know, Jeanette Donn passed away recently. Many have asked when her funeral will be held. Jeanette chose not to have a formal service and instead opted for a direct cremation.
In place of a funeral, the family will be holding a Celebration of Life on Friday 3rd July, starting at 2:00 pm, in the lounge bar at The Roseburn Bar. Everyone who knew Jeanette is warmly invited to attend, share a drink, and remember her with stories and memories.
With deepest sympathies to the family, from all the staff at The Roseburn.
