Sometimes you just find a place that feels right. 🏡

That’s exactly what happened when Todd Warnock first visited Seaview Farm in Dornoch.

What started as a little farmhouse, a roofless barn and plenty of stone walls in need of repair has been transformed into something pretty special.

The house mixes classic Scottish style with colourful interiors, beautiful antiques and plenty of local character.

Outside, the 110-acre estate has been completely reimagined, including a stunning 600ft ha-ha and an incredible sunken walled garden hidden away from view.

This month we took a look around and it didn’t disappoint.

Inside The Tower Portobello - a beautifully restored 1785 landmark by the sea. 🌊✨

With its weathered stone, medieval character and mysterious past, .portobello has long been part of Portobello’s landscape.

Once owned by renowned magician Harry Marvello, a close associate of Harry Houdini, it has a history as colourful as its character.

But for owner Zahra Noble-Sabokbar, it was always more than a landmark.

Woven into her family’s history, it was a place that fascinated and intimidated her as a child - and one she would eventually help bring back to life.

A piece of Portobello history, beautifully reimagined, this month chats to Zahra about restoring the iconic building and her eye for interior design.
