What a day!
Thanks to for such a great day at .
It was so fun bringing along a new feature for my market stall - patches! The perfect way to make clothes unique to you and your kids and sometimes covering a stain/hole along the way.
The most heard statement at my stall is always "I wish you did this in my size!" Well, although I dont make grown up clothes (yet!), now you can just get me to add my homemade patches to your own clothes!
They're all unique and made from the scraps from the clothes I make. Catch me next time in the same place on the 6th December to get patched (and tell yer mates) 🪡💖

Trousers that grow with your child!
My son is still wearing trousers I made him over a year ago because kids clothes can last longer than the highstreet makes you think!
All these trousers (and more) will be live tonight at 7pm for subscribers and 8pm for everyone else!

1 week to go until I will be in the foyer of Portobello Town Hall for Octobers installment of Support the Makers | Independent Makers | Markets Makers Market!
I'll be all set up with a load of new clothes plus my sewing machine to patch up yours and your kids old clothes!
Whether it's an old top with a stain, a jacket with a tear or just something with a naff logo - I can patch it!
Bring along whatever you want patching. Tops, trousers, bags, bibs, jackets, sweatshirts - whatever!
The only time it will be a problem is if theres an area that's too narrow to fit in my machine eg. A child's sleeve. Feel free to message if you have any questions about suitability!
I've spent weeks making loads of different applique patches. Theres a variety of size, style, colour and price so there's something for everyone!
If you have any specific requests let me know this week and I can still try to make it for you.
We can discuss placement and choose thread colour together to make sure its in the perfect spot for you and possible to sew for me!
I use iron on adhesive to fix it in place then stitch it on so its extra secure!
You walk away with a one-off customised item of clothing with a new lease of life. Keeping clothes for longer and reducing fabric ending up in landfill.

Honestly, to come out of a creative block to my biggest drop has left me feeling great! I love all the pieces and I can't wait for them to go online on 3rd October!
