A big well done to Freya, who has been shortlisted for the National Skills and Apprenticeships Awards!

She is studying a T Level in Management and Administration. She is doing her placement with Devon County Council's Apprenticeships and Early Careers Team.

Freya was nominated for her significant contribution to the development of the team's internal information site.

"From writing clear, engaging content and designing user-friendly pages to supporting its launch to staff, her contribution has been transformative. The site now acts as a one-stop resource for colleagues to access information on Apprenticeships and Early Careers, reducing enquiries and improving efficiency across the team. This success reflects Freya’s strong communication skills, and her attention to detail, ensuring no vital information is missed and that the site is accessible."

Freya is looking forward to progressing to university after completing her course, and then starting a career in HR.

Let's hear it for Max! 👏

This summer, Exeter College student Max Looker made his One Day International Cricket debut for the Germany U19s against Italy in July. He then went on to represent them twice in the International Cricket Council U19 Cricket World Cup qualifiers in Guernsey.

This is an exceptional achievement, Max, well done!

🎓 Spotlight on Access to Higher Education

Last week, we were delighted to welcome students to their Access to Higher Education induction as they started at Exeter College.

Among them were sisters Ava and Millie. Ava is studying Access to Biology and Chemistry with ambitions of becoming an orthodontist, while Millie is studying Access to Health Professions and hopes to pursue a career in psychology.

We also caught up with Liv and Hallie who have both just enrolled at Exeter College, in Access to Heath Professionals and Access to Biology and Chemistry. Can you believe they only just met?!

We're excited to see what our Access students achieve this year. 💙

New students wrote messages to their future selves at the Welcome Fair💫

They joined us at the Marketing stand to write a postcard to their future selves, to be read on Results Day 2028. They then got a photo taken, that was added to the front of the postcard. 💙
