As 2024 comes to a close, Fuzed Group celebrates a successful year marked by significant achievements, including a notable solar project in collaboration with Manchester City Football Club & Solar Co. This project, executed by Fuzed Groupโs in-house engineers, showcases their commitment to delivering high-quality installations regardless of project size. Here we have some arial footage of the Joie stadium in action.
The project involves the installation of over 10,500 solar panels, aimed at supporting the clubโs sustainability goals and transitioning to self-supplied renewable energy. This initiative is part of Manchester Cityโs broader strategy to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.
The solar panel installation is divided into two phases. The first phase focuses on rooftop installations, expected to be completed by the end of 2024, while the second phase which will be delivered by the Fuzed Group will add ground-mounted panels throughout the facility, targeting completion before the end of the 2024/25 season
On a personal note the Fuzed Group has experienced a record year, adhering to their philosophy of delivering the highest quality of installations possible. This commitment has led to several clients securing large tenders, reflecting the companyโs reputation for quality work. Fuzed Group are on the look out for an two Apprentice to work along side our ever growing team of engineers to help install commercial Solar PV systems to clients all across the UK from 100kW up to multi-megawatt projects nationwide.
In this role you will be taught everything AC related from Commercial & Industrial AC to Solar PV installations.
They would be happy to frequently stay away and travel nationwide. Ideal candidate will do 1 week at collage and 3 weeks on site Monday - Friday.
We're offering double the National minimum apprentice wage with progression every year until completion.
The Role:
-Electrical NVQ Level 3
- Installing commercial PV systems from 100kw up to multi megawatt
- Nationwide travel
- Excellent learning potential with future progression within the Fuzed Group
The Person:
- Enthusiastic
- Willing to learn
- Able to enrolee on an NVQ level 3 program with college
- Punctual

Fuzed Group have secured a healthy pipeline of projects for 2024/ 2025 Nationwide weโre looking for the following trades to join our ever expanding team:
Self employed Electricans. You must hold a valid ECS Gold card with the latest wiring regulations, Inspection and testing, have a proven track record of delivering commercial installations.
Day rate ยฃ230+ (price negotiable)
Labourers the candidate must hold CSCS cards / IPAF/ Telehandler licences would be advantageous - Training can be provided.
Day rate ยฃ130
2 x experienced roofers with a proven track record of delivering large commercial PV rooftop installations, Ground mount experience would be beneficial however not essential. CSCS card, IPAF, Telehandler licences , SSTS would be advantageous, training can be provided.
Day rate ยฃ150+ (price negotiable)๏ฟผ
We are looking for candidates Nationwide, we can supply work van to the right personal.
All the above positions require working away Monday-Friday, All accommodation is pre-booked with Air B&B, wages paid weekly.
