Exminster Hedgehog Rescue

This little one found today finders search for more but couldn’t find any more.
She will need a lot of luck at only 30g deaf and blind still with flystrike and fleas. now tucked up in incubator

Next little Larna 175g found crying in a flower bed, seems a lot younger than her size suggests as I had to toilet her for the first couple of days.

A few more arrivals this week.

These 2 grumpy chestnuts who are camera shy found in a yard with a puzzle of how they arrived there with no access for them. Pepper 165g and Salt 135g but haven’t stop eating since they arrived so are doing really well.

Two adult hogs in, one yesterday evening and one this morning both in similar very thin with 1000s of fleas poor thing must feel so horrible.

Poor Potato came in the spring as a babe and got released back to his garden where he for some reason didn’t thrive and was seen in poor condition out in the day. He has bad ringworm and fleas both treated but as you will see from the photos he still has dry skin and loosing his old prickles affected by the ringworm but if you look closely he has new spines coming through. After having a moisturising treat you can see just how many he’s actually losing.

This guy has come in for monitoring seen limping on camera but he has an old injury of missing back leg completely heal so know idea how long he’s been like this but as far as I can see he’s been coping amazingly well.

Another absolute cutie at only 91g, not eating independently so being syringe fed.
Also an extremely poorly girl with lots of ticks seen wandering around an estate in Exeter for a couple of days only 230g.

Little Dave, so cute, arrived early this evening weighing only 113g luckily spotted tottering around the garden as he already had some flystrike.

In desperate need of newspapers very messy hogglets so going through more than usual 🙏🙏🙏🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔
