We love a SALE at the scrapstore - this time we are clearing out our card-making, scrapbooking and junk journaling supplies.
There will still be lots on the shop and scrap warehouse so this a is clear-out of surplus stock.
We have lots of different cutting machines, a heap of different powders and a mountain of foil stickers ready and we’ve still another cupboard to clear!
Open on Thursday and Friday from 11 until 5 and Saturday from 11 until 3.

On Saturday we offered a cyanotype workshop which was delivered by Stuart Crewes from Inky Fingers Workshop.
Participants worked with scrap and natural materials to explore the techniques.
Lovely results!
Follow us for more workshops this Autumn.

I meant to take a ‘before and after’ photo of Gaby and I at the scrap swap! It’s such a full- on, exciting day but we do look tired at the end of it!
13 scrap stores park up in a service station and unload the things they have a surplus of. We get some browsing time and then when a whistle is blown we all dash about filling our vans back up with stuff from other stores- until every bit of scrap has found a new home.
Tomorrow we will be unpacking sone of the treasure we gathered. Do pop in, especially as we also have a scrapbooking drop- in workshop from 11 until 1.
Open tomorrow and Friday from 11 until 5 and Saturday from 11 until 3.
Thank you to Gloucester Scrapstore for brilliant organising as always.

Is it too soon to mention it? Oh no, I’m going to say it - we’ve got to make room for Christmas in the shop! That, and we figure if you make stuff for Christmas then you’ll be getting started about now - so we are having a clear out of all things card-making and scrapbooking.
The sale will be in our volunteer room during normal opening hours on Thursday 1st, Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd of October.

We are gearing up for a SALE of all things card-making and Scrapbooking so thought we would preempt this with a little drop- in making session.
Scrapbooking is a lovely way to hang onto memories by making pages that combine found bits like tickets with other paper craft materials.
We will have a selection of bits from the warehouse and the shop for you to play with. Bring along things you want to add.
We only have a small workshop space so it will be a casual drop- in with room for 6 at a time.

As we look forward to the Seeing Bee final tonight thoughts have been turning to Autumn projects and making clothes.
If the Sewing Bee has inspired you too then skip on down to see us and gather your supplies from our shop.
You do not need to be a member just pop in.
We have had a lovely donation of patterns and always have fantastic fabric and haberdashery.

We’re open on Thursday and Friday from 11 until 5 and on Saturday from 11 until 3.
We’re very fortunate to have a brilliant volunteer who sorts our fabric and is a whizz at sewing - Di is in in a Friday morning so if you need any advice this is a good time to visit.

It is always lovely to have lots of fantastic donations for our volunteers to sort but sometimes we need to take a break for a week whilst we catch up with getting everything into the warehouse or shop.
This is such a week, we will be open to donations again next week.
We would like to extend a big thank you for all the stuff that gets dropped into us.
It’s amazing what can be repurposed by our fantastic members and customers.

Calling all students - did you know our membership is half price for students - only £6 for the year.
Our warehouse and shop are full of art, craft and play supplies either sold by bulk or at low prices.
Not only do you save money but you help the planet by buying locally sourced, recycled things.
We would love to see what you make with our stock, maybe decorations for a party, maybe a college project or in a moment of relaxation - tag us so we can share on social media and inspire others.
