The University of Exeter Q-Step Centre equips social science students with quantitative literacy and applied data analysis skills.

The University of Exeter offers 5 new challenging and exciting BSc degree programmes in social science with applied Data Analysis combined with career-enhancing research skills and a funded work placements. Building on the core disciplines of Sociology, Criminology, Politics and International Relations, the University of Exeter Q-Step Centre brings together a range of activities related to training and curriculum development in quantitative methods and recruits new expertise for the delivery of undergraduate programmes focused to equip students with quantitative literacy and applied data analysis skills.

Classic narratives suggest that newly enfranchised women were mobilized by their arguably more politicized husbands. However, husbands' mobilization of wives has not been subject to rigorous tests, primarily reflecting lack of suitable data.
