As well as working with people who have sustained head injuries, Headway Devon also supports people whose brains may have been injured as a result of meningitis, stroke, choking or suffocation, brain tumours, and many other illnesses and accidents. People with brain injuries are often left facing physical disabilities, thinking and learning difficulties and emotional problems.
