Maidenhead Aquatics Rokers

New in, Kohaku Ricefish! We know how much you guys have enjoyed the other varieties of Medaka, so we just had to add another. 🐠

Aquarium season is here!

As the nights draw in and we spend more time indoors, our aquariums take centre stage again.
Autumn is the perfect time to give your tank a little extra attention. Check your heater, test your water, inspect your filter and catch up on those maintenance jobs that may have slipped over summer.

The aim isn’t to change everything. It’s to make sure your aquarium is stable, healthy and ready for the colder months ahead.

Get your aquarium autumn ready.

Hexazona Barbs have similar lovely stripes as Tiger Barbs but with out the aggression. Males have a slightly darker orange around the edges of the body and on the fins, while females are slightly more pale with a rounder belly. Both males and females get stunning reflections of light on their scales depending on the angle you look at them from.
