Beautifully unique, with a witchy vibe. Sterling silver jewellery, made in the Scottish Borders ♥️
Beautifully unique sterling silver & gemstone jewellery, hand crafted in the Scottish Borders. Made using traditional techniques and a modern environmental ethos. Natural precious and semi precious gemstones are used across the range, with genuine sterling silver to make rings, bracelets, pendants and lots more in my own unique designs. I even use elements of 9ct gold in a lot of pieces for that extra special gift. I can work with any design to craft you a piece of bespoke jewellery, please just ask for any assistance with this. All of my jewellery is made in my home studio, using traditional tools and silversmithing techniques.

Here’s a super long post for a restyle but I have been meaning to post about this issue before and have never got around to it, so here goes now 🥰.
Beautiful Tracey had these old gold bangles, and wanted a nice solid bangle made from them and a wee rose gold halo band from the rose gold finials. The issue with these lovely bangles is that gold has always been expensive, to the point where jewellers would make a gold bangle from super thin sheet, which would be so soft as to not last if used in the normal way.
So they’d use steel memory wire inside the hollows so that you’d be able to stretch open the bracelet to get it on but not to the point of cracking the gold. But then the gold cracks after a few years, forms a sharp edge so that you can’t wear it comfortably. Then they sit in your jewellery box waiting for me to come along and make it into something new 😉.
Anyway, all this is to say that those three gold bangles, which weighed a total of 20g at the start, only left me with 12g of useable gold after the steel was removed. Perfectly plenty for a gorgeous gold halo bangle but almost half the weight you’d be expecting.
I just thought I’d pass on this gem of knowledge, you never know when you might need it lol 😂.
Oh and Tracey loved her new piece 🙌.
Much love 🥰♥️

I’m asked all the time if I can engrave jewellery. The answer is yes, in my wee shop, if it’s flat and silver I can engrave anything you like really. Pop in and see me to create your bespoke piece 😊.
Practising some teeny tiny engraving today on this wee bar necklace, so cute!
*gratuitous photo of my gnarly fingertips for scale 😂

Transformation Tuesday!
A few weeks ago the lovely Marion came back to see me with a trove of old gold treasures. She wanted three T Bar bracelets made from the gold that can be worn as bracelets, or all together as a long chain.
I melted down all the useable gold, using the rose gold for the T Bar loops, and made three different sizes of links for the chains, although the two larger ones came out about the same size in the end 🫣. Then I soldered every single link and refashioned the tigers eye ring into a charm to hang from one of the bracelets.
I’ve always had a saying - life’s too short to make your own chains - but in this instance, it was absolutely worth the effort 🥰.
Three full days in the workshop, plus another day for the incidentals to make them work perfectly as intended for Marion, and I’m happy to tell you that she’s delighted with her new heirloom pieces that will be passed down eventually and worn for generations to come.
Thanks again Marion 🥰♥️
