Hello all 🌿

It was a pleasure to provide a piano score for this video from PeacePlus Nature, a unique and much needed conservation project which aims to protect species and restore habitats across the island of Ireland. 🌿
Please check out their page for more info. 🌿

The piano piece used in the film is called 'STILL HERE', and has also been featured on BBC Sounds and BBC Radio 3's 'Piano Focus' playlist. If you would like to listen to it, or any of the tracks from my back catalogue, the link is in the comments below. 🌿

Love,
Neil

Subtle rhythms, ambient atmospheres, the view from a train, nature, and big skies are some of the things that help me to keep moving and feel ok in the world.🌿

Just staying still, looking and listening, is the best medicine for me sometimes. 🌿

I enjoyed creating this track and I hope you enjoy the journey. 🌿

TRACK: Luminous Earth
ARTIST: Neil Foster

I’ve loved improvising at the piano since I was small. I recorded and filmed some improvs on a trip to Fez last month, and since I’d also taken some video of the drive back to the airport at the end of the trip, I thought I’d weave the two together. 🌿

Playing the piano is like meditation, or prayer for me, a way of connecting with myself, whatever space I’m in. 🌿

I hope you enjoy the sights and sounds. 🌿

It’s always a pleasure to see one of my tracks featured on very chilled show ‘The Sleeping Forecast’ on and . 🌿

‘Forest Memory’ is an ambient neoclassical piece that I created for the project, and features the distinctive, 4 note call of the Indian Cuckoo, recorded in Taman Negara rainforest, Malaysia, by Jake Edwards. 🌿

Thanks so much to and .listening for featuring my music once again. 🌿

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with and on their ‘A Century of Sounds’ project which launches next week. Honoured to hear my track ‘YEYI’ soundtracking their launch video! 🙏 🪴

Hello! 🌿🎵

Spring is coming.. it’s good to see the light coming back and I’m looking forward to being on the move again. 🌿

I have so many compositions in various stages of completion. This one, paired with some nice footage taken from a train while back, is a favourite of mine.. I think it might work well with some live strings.. 🌿

I hope you love it. 🌿
