Kilmarnock Rugby Club
Kilmarnock Rugby Football Club (aka Killie) is a Scottish rugby union club founded in 1868
05/10/2026
Ewan Callaghan first pulled on a Kilmarnock jersey back in 1999/2000 through the primary school. After a few years away, he came back to the club in 2022 at the age of 34 and has since made 79 1st XV appearances, with 100 firmly in his sights.
He plays tighthead prop, loosehead prop or ho**er when required, and scrummaging is where he's happiest, especially the direct battle with the man opposite. Highlights so far include winning West 1 and helping get Kilmarnock back into the national league setup.
Outside of rugby he works as a Signaller for Network Rail and spends his spare time fishing and with his family, but he'll tell you Kilmarnock is a great place to be, from the minis right through to the senior men. Same faces on the pitch and along the touchline week in, week out, with a proper sense of belonging and plenty of good banter.⚪🔴⚪

Hard fought win away to Garnock. 5 points and the Bryan Gilbert Cup heading back to Kilmarnock!
Man of the match goes to Sam Wynn. An industrious shift at 7 from a former Garnock winger, right back in enemy territory🔴⚪🔴
Honourable mentions to Taylor McHarg, three tries in his last two games, and Jack Gemmell for another trademark performance at 8.
Sam's player sponsor is Allied Business Finance. Thanks for your support.
The player of the match award still needs a sponsor. If that's something you or your business would be interested in, get in touch.

FULL TIME: Kilmarnock 27 - 26 Garnock
Down at half time, but this team doesn't know how to quit. The boys dug in, clawed it back and snatched it right at the end. One point. That's all it took.
Huge effort from everyone out there today. This is what Killie rugby is about.
Up the Killie.

Away day at Garnock, 3pm kick off🚨
A few young boys stepping up this week. Adam builds on a good first appearance off the bench last week, and Max has earned a place on the bench too. Good to see the next lot coming through.
If you can get along and get behind the boys⚪️🔴⚪️

We're pleased to say our club captain, Craig Sheppard, has had a successful knee operation and is now on the road to recovery!
Everyone at the club wishes him a smooth recovery, and we're looking forward to having him back out there soon.

We were fortunate enough that President Claire was willing to do the draw for us and congratulations to the winner and runners up.
Scott Murray is the recipient of the hamper, Shazia from Sol & Shine won 2nd prize and Joanne Mahaffey of J&J events won 3rd prize.
Thanks once again and go Team Killie 🥳
