Burley RUFC

ITS FINALLY HERE! 🦁🦁🦁
Come down and watch the lions with our new big screen! The club will be open for every game this summer See you there! 🍻🍻

Amazing weekend playing at tournament!! Very happy to have got second place after so long not playing rugby!! Bring on next season 💪🏼!!

Burley’s second game back with the modified rules. Bar will be open and serving drinks to a sheltered outdoor area. Come down and show your support and see the first live sport you’ve seen in some time!

Training continues tonight at 6:30pm with more glorious weather. We’ve had excellent numbers at training since we restarted and long may it continue.

@ Burley RUFC

A huge thank you from the committee to everyone who donated to the go fund me page. You have helped to raise over £2700 for the club! It means we can continue with our centenary plans and keep the club going for the foreseeable future. It’s very humbling to know that so many of you are still willing to help and support us.

Finally we can get back to rugby! We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!

Our last game was a year ago today, a 31-0 win at home. God we miss it and hopefully we will be back to training, playing and enjoying the clubhouse bar again.

Sad times that it comes to this but Burley is struggling, like many at this time. It's a small rugby club in Leeds but a massive part of the community and a social hub for people in the Burley/Kirkstall area! We appreciate times are hard and not everyone has money to give, but anything at all will help keep our club going.

Halloween touch a success as always!!
