A fantastic few days at the Great Yorkshire Show supporting our client British Wool 🐑

This year, we helped coordinate media opportunities featuring special guest Patrick Grant, including appearances with BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio York and the Yorkshire Post, helping bring the story of British wool to audiences far beyond the showground.

From managing media interviews to supporting live event activity (including Patrick trying his hand at sheep shearing on stage!), it was a brilliant example of the work that goes into creating standout moments and securing meaningful coverage 💜

A fundraising challenge, turned into a region-wide media moment.

For Yorkshire Cancer Research, we transformed the charity’s annual We Walk For Yorkshire campaign into a story that travelled across the county.

At the heart of the campaign was the Baton for Yorkshire - a powerful visual thread carried by people affected by cancer, supporters, ambassadors and charity representatives. We then created four, standout media moments across Hull, Sheffield, Leeds and Harrogate - giving press a clear reason to follow the journey from start to finish.

The result?

💜 80+ pieces of coverage
💜 212M estimated reach
💜 38 broadcast features
💜 BBC and ITV coverage across every media moment
💜 A live baton exchange on the BBC Look North sofa
💜 £55k raised by the charity, exceeding the fundraising target

The mass media coverage we secured has driven greater visibility to the shocking stat that 35,000 people are diagnosed with cancer in Yorkshire every year - while driving support towards the charity’s fundraising goal.

Just one example of how we turn important causes, into stories that move people and deliver measurable impact.

A piece of pub wisdom, turned into a national talking point.

For Mr. Porky, we took something pub-goers have always known - that pork scratchings make beer taste better - and turned it into a PR-first campaign built for headlines, broadcast and online conversation.

Using consumer insight, a real-world taste test, expert commentary and timely World Cup relevance, we helped make one of Britain’s most iconic pub snacks culturally relevant.

The result?
💜 202 pieces of coverage
💜 21 national pieces
💜 14 broadcast features
💜 562 brand mentions
💜 45m total circulation

The campaign landed across LADbible, Daily Star, Daily Mirror, Daily Express, MSN, OK!, GB News, Times Radio - to name a few! All helping our client Mr. Porky own the pint-and-scratchings conversation when it mattered most.

Just one example of how the team at Prohibition can turn a cultural truth into a campaign that cuts through.

A lovely day shooting with the gorgeous Woody! 🐾

We recently spent a sunny morning capturing content for Sensitive dog food range. The focus was all about happy, healthy pups, and it’s safe to say - he enjoyed every moment just as much as we did.

Stay tuned to see more of Woody on the Burgess socials 💜

Today we’re shouting about some standout coverage for 🏡📱

We’ve supported the team with the launch of their brand-new app, designed to transform property investment from sourcing through to acquisition, and the story has landed across multiple trade and regional titles, building strong momentum for the launch.

It was great to attend the investor event in Manchester with Dion Dublin and Oliver Adams to officially launch the app and gather great footage to produce exciting content for their social channels.

A brilliant result for the team and a great example of a launch story cutting through in the press and on socials! Great work all! 🗞️
