🤓🌳 The trees on The Sound of Music set are REAL and they came from the Harewood House estate.

The set (designed by Michael Taylor) calls for a realistic aesthetic – so the Forestry Manager at Harewood took our team to choose 13 silver birch trees on a patch that they were looking to thin out to make runs for endangered local pig breeds that help turn over the woodland floor and keep a healthy ecosystem going!

When the show is over, the trees will go back to Harewood to be chipped and used for bio-fuel on the estate.
