Welcome, this page is to showcase my lighting and production design work for theatre, corporate and live music events. I work across the UK and Europe with more than 30 years’ experience on a wide range of productions. Much of my current lighting design work incorporates media projection to create visual effects and digital backdrops as well as traditional effects and techniques.

Two venues in Leeds close to my heart, let’s hope they can survive and bring us all together again soon to laugh, sing and enjoy great theatre.
Congratulations to Chris Barrett on winning the Best Lighting at The Great British Pantomime Awards. Fantastic to be nominated and up against three Qdos productions.
Let’s hope we are all back later this year.

UK Review: 'Red Riding Hood' at City Varieties Music Hall, Leeds — OnStage Blog ‘After last year’s successful rock ‘n’ panto, which revamped the classic story of ‘Cinderella’ with an actor-musician cast, the City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds now plays host to a new production of ‘Red Riding Hood’, directed by Rob Salmon.’
