Manning

I started to listen to music on one of these Dansettes…like playing LPs using a knitting needle, but hey…it was in my room, in private
Alice Cooper, Lindisfarne, Jefferson Airplane, Jethro Tull … all started here 🙂

Somewhere along the way, i began to compose and play…still at it!

Damanek are still asking you to be generous and support our new GoFundMe campaign…all the money will go across to Sean (Timms) to allow him to produce the new Damanek album. Without your help, we cannot do this… but your support of us has always been superb and we are so, so grateful
The link to the campaign will be included in the comments

Please LIKE and SHARE the post to get it more attention from our listeners/potential donors

Other news is that plans for some live dates in 2027 are now underway!
Will report more as things in diaries get fixed…keep watching :)

Bandcamp Friday again (Fri 1st May)

An opportunity to show support for indie artists by visiting their Bandcamp pages, taking a listen and maybe even buy a track or two
On these special days, Bandcamp waives its usual admin fees and so the artist gets a little more income…which is lovely xx

So please support the music
At least take a listen, you might love what you discover!!

Guy Manning Physical CDs+Artwork are still available to buy - please check on the websites below Leader of band - Damanek (3 albums) Leader of project, The Patchwork Alliance Solo Artist / Band Leader for Manning [1999-2014] (15 albums) Former Performer/Arranger for UPF (United Progressive Fraternity) Ex-member...

This is a picture of childhood UK TV heroes of mine, Tin Tin with Captain Haddock and there is also a lovely picture of Me (Guy Manning) [Courtesy of Prog magazine]
Guy lives in Yorkshire, England with his family
Guy used to work in IT but has now retired as a pensioner!!
When he is not asleep, Guy listens to and plays and composes music such as with his Patchwork Alliance Collaboration Project and, of course, he is a founder member of our lively troupe, Damanek
Guy is the principle Composer of the Music & Lyrics
Guy would just love for us to produce a brand new Damanek album for us/you
In order to do this though, Sean (Timms) has to turn the studio over from day job to creative enterprises, and so we are running a new GoFundMe campaign to give him the time/money he needs to be able to do that.
Our last campaign for Album #3 went very, very well thanks to your generosity and support and the subsequent album also was reviewed highly
In these hard financial times i know it is an ask, but every small donation gets us nearer to a new production…
So, if you can, then please help us out and also, please spread this message out there (as social media makes it hard to get any info out to our friends)
Thanking you in anticipation, on behalf of Damanek (Guy, Sean & Marek)
The link to the campaign will be found in the comments…

Thanks everyone

Thanks
