‼️TRIGGER WARNING upsetting content‼️

In the last two days alone our teams have dealt with multiple emergency cleans. 🧽 🚨

Sometimes they aren’t too horrific, human waste in a public area, fly tipping, needle sweep in a park, flooded building etc 💉 💦 ☣️
Last night I was called out to a communal area in some flats where animal f***s was present. Nothing too upsetting or dramatic. 💩

However the teams have also dealt with su***de attempts, unattended deaths and other serious circumstances that only someone trained and experienced should be dealing with. ☣️❌

Sometimes the police, family liaison, coroner, funeral directors etc simply do their job and leave. Sometimes this leaves the family, loved ones, landlord with another thing to worry about or deal with when frankly they have enough on their plate! 😞

They absolutely should not be cleaning up themselves, under ANY circumstances. ❌

Not only is it extremely traumatising but also it’s unlikely the family have the knowledge and equipment to do the job safely and effectively. ☣️

Not only is the clean up extremely specialised needing specific chemicals, equipment, PPE, methods and procedures to make sure the jobs are carried out correctly and effective but it also requires specific licenses to be able to remove and dispose of the waste.

PSA: SCAM!

Be aware of a SCAM we nearly fell for today call “The being safe book”.

We had a call from someone, asked for me personally and said it was to thank me for sponsoring “The Being Safe Book” about bullying and the books I’ve sponsored were ready to go into a school of my choice.

They said the books had our name and address on the cover and she read out my full home address and the business name etc.

I literally had no recollection whatsoever of agreeing to this but it sounded so genuine as when she asked my chosen school I named my daughters school she said “the head teacher # # (and named the real head) will be in touch as well to thank you” etc!

She then said she was emailing the invoice, read out out business email and said if we pay today we get 15% off!

I came off the phone thinking I can’t remember anything about that but seems nice lol 🥴🙈

Within minutes we had an invoice with a picture of our book cover with our business name and address on it etc!

When we emailed to say we don’t remember anything about this they rang us back again to convince us we had signed up despite us having no correspondence!

Anyway I’ve googled and it’s a scam.

Just be careful, we nearly got sucked in!

And the viral Mars Bar saga continues!

Apparently we’ve been on the news in Australia 🇦🇺 as well 🙈🤣

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind the last few days…..

THE Mars Bar has not only gone viral online but has been picked up by the newspapers and has even reached The New York Post!

Also apparently Nick Abbot was speaking about it on The Late Show last night on LBC! 🤯

Someone has messaged to say it’s in The Sun as well but I’m yet to see it! 👀

I am away this weekend at a festival with family and very little signal, just a few bits coming through every now and again but it’s so exciting getting the updates sent to me about where it’s been appearing! 🤣
