✨ WOW… WE’RE FINALISTS! ✨
Still a little bit in shock! 😲
We are absolutely thrilled to have received a nomination for the Liverpool Innovation & Impact Award, but to now find out that Iconic CIC is a FINALIST in the Storyteller Awards category is such an incredible feeling! ✨
We are so grateful and incredibly proud of how far Iconic has come and, most importantly, of the community at the heart of everything we do. 😇
At Iconic CIC, we use fashion, art and creativity to tell stories that deserve to be seen and heard. We create inclusive spaces for people living with mental health challenges, disabilities and neurodivergence to express themselves, build confidence and celebrate exactly who they are.
And storytelling is at the heart of our Festival of Fashion & Wellbeing. 👗✨
It isn’t just a fashion show. It’s a platform for real people, real experiences and real stories bringing together fashion, creativity, wellbeing and community to challenge stigma and show that fashion can be so much more than what we wear.
From our Wear Your Story projects to our workshops, photoshoots and community programmes, we believe creativity can give people a voice when sometimes words aren’t enough. Fashion is a way to express yourself without having to speak….
To be recognised for the stories we help people tell and the impact those stories can have means the absolute world to us. 🩷
Whatever happens next, this one already feels pretty special. 🥹💜

We couldn’t be prouder of the amazing children who took part in our 250 Years of Formby Lifeboat project. 🌊❤️
Over the past few weeks, they have explored new painting techniques, developed their creativity, and brought to life the incredible 250-year history of the Formby Lifeboat through art.
Every canvas tells part of the story, and the dedication, enthusiasm, and imagination the children have shown has been truly inspiring. Their hard work has paid off, and the finished artwork is something they should all be incredibly proud of.
A huge thank you to St Jerome’s school, teachers, sefton council and Formby councillors and everyone who supported the project. We hope everyone enjoys discovering the canvases displayed around Formby and celebrating this special milestone in our community’s history.
Well done to every young artist you’ve created something truly special! 💙🎨🚤

What an incredible few weeks it’s been! ❤️
We’ve been incredibly busy sharing the amazing history and heritage of the Formby Lifeboat the first of its kind, serving from 1776–1918.
It has been a privilege to work with over 100 Year 5 and Year 6 children, bringing this remarkable story to life through art. Together, we’ve recreated the lifeboat’s timeline, with each child producing a beautiful painted canvas inspired by Formby’s rich maritime history.
We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them. Their creativity, enthusiasm, and hard work have been truly inspiring.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported this project. We are so grateful and excited to see the children’s artwork displayed throughout Formby Village this weekend, 27th & 28th.
Come and visit the village, follow the timeline, and experience the story of the Formby Lifeboat told through the children’s incredible artwork. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our local heritage while seeing history brought to life through the eyes of our young artists.
We can’t wait to welcome you and hope you’ll join us in celebrating this very special community project. 🚤🎨❤️
Thank you to for this amazing opportunity 🤩

Wow 😲 I am actually SHOCKED to be nominated for not just in ONE category but TWO!! 🤯✨
As if being nominated alongside so many amazing and inspiring women wasn’t already enough… finding out I’m a FINALIST in both categories has completely overwhelmed me in the best way 🥹💫
I’m honestly so grateful because half the time I’m just out here doing what I love and hoping for the best 🫣😂
This has really made me stop for a moment and appreciate the journey, the hard work, and all the incredible people who support me along the way 🩷
Feeling very thankful, very emotional… and maybe just a tiny bit speechless for once 🤐 🤣✨
