What's your guess?

We certainly see all sorts of freight coming through, but we have to admit, this one has got us stumped.

Given that we’re already gearing up for the Christmas peak, our latest guess is a giant snow globe...

Moving goods of different shapes, sizes and requirements takes the right vehicles, careful planning and experience.

That’s exactly what we offer every day.

If you have unusual freight - get in touch!

There was a time that barcode scanning used to be the standard for traceability - but not any more.

When we introduced our unique Palleteyes system, we took things to another level.

The system captures wide angle and close-up video footage of every single movement in the hub... not simply scans or photos, video footage.

The FLT-mounted system records the movements, providing a documented history of each offload, movement and reload through the hub.

That video footage can be reviewed by the team if there are any issues, providing a level of transparency previously unheard of.

Everyone loves a selfie...

So if your pallets could speak, they'd probably tell you how excited they are to know that when they reach their destination, we take a photo of them, so you know they arrived in good condition and your customer will be happy.

Palletline's photo-on-delivery service is just one of the ways we give you transparency and visibility throughout.

Drop us a message and we'll show you how we do it!

Selling on Amazon is a great opportunity.

But with it comes a set of requirements that many networks struggle with.

Missed delivery windows, non-compliant freight, damaged goods - all these things can understandably cause issues and potentially incur additional costs.

As part of Palletline, the only pallet network in Amazon's Inbound Preferred Carrier Programme, we know that our customers' Amazon deliveries have an advantage.

The IPCP means Palletline's Amazon activity is held to higher standards, with strict KPIs aligned with Amazon's own and all actively managed and regularly checked.

That means fewer obstacles, fewer issues and a smoother delivery experience all-round for you.

For members of some networks, the collection and delivery elements are clear, but what happens at the hub in between can feel like a bit of a mystery.

Not for us and not for our customers.

At the central Palletline hub, every pallet is captured on the Palleteyes system - cameras mounted to each forklift truck that record (not just scan) every single movement.

It's a unique system that automatically triggers and records each movement to give the ultimate in accountability with no blind spots and no uncertainty.

Did you know that most of the trucks you see on the motorway are less than half full?

The industry average is a 51% vehicle fill.

Pallet networks improve that position, providing a more efficient way of moving goods - typically around the 70% mark.

The Palletline network averages 84.6%.

That makes a huge difference.

It's more cost-efficient, meaning better value for customers and it's more environmentally friendly, reducing the number of trips needed to move a given volume of goods.

Want to know more about how that works for your deliveries?

Think about the last delivery you received that went really well.

On time, in good condition, properly handled by a professional delivery driver.

Now think about how it made you feel about the company you ordered the goods from - it no doubt reflected well on them.

But if that delivery experience was a poor one, you would feel differently about the company from which you ordered the bathroom, DIY materials or new garden furniture.

Good logistics leaves a positive impression on the receiver of the goods - one that impacts the seller's reputation too, and we never forget that.

It's why we take the care of every consignment as seriously as our customers do, because it's their reputation we're protecting, as well as our own.

If you're sending five parcels to the same address, you're probably paying for five separate deliveries - but more importantly, you've got five separate chances for something to go wrong.

There's a better way.

Consolidating those parcels onto a single pallet instead can cut costs, reduce the risk of damage and simplify the whole process.

It's a straightforward switch that can make a much bigger difference than you think, and it's a big reason why having a trustworthy pallet partner supporting your logistics is vital.

Did you know... Higher standards are hard-wired into our relationship with Amazon.

As the only pallet network in their Inbound Preferred Carrier Programme, we work to a different set of KPIs and service levels that are higher than companies not in the programme.

That means higher expectations and tougher targets that are regularly reviewed and discussed between our teams.

It's a true performance partnership that benefits Amazon sellers and customers.
