Work work today (not renovation work)

It feels strange to be back in a semblance of routine, just going to my youth work job. No renovations for me today or tomorrow. I'll have to make up for it on Saturday.

La muncă muncă azi (nu la renovări)

E ciudat să revin la ceva fel de rutină, mergând doar la jobul de lucrător de tineret. Fără renovări pentru mine azi și mâine. Va trebui să compensez Sâmbătă.

Panting walls!

Today was painting day. After and before a few meetings and plenty of work. Super productive!

We did the first coat of paint in the future bedroom.

Azi a fost o zi de vopsit. Înainte și după niște ședințe și multe alte munci. O zi foarte productivă n

Am ajuns la primul strat de vopsea din viitorul dormitor.

Bit of reading between renovations

I was on autopilot today. Go here, do that, come, leave etc. Insane. We met with J for an early birthday celebration. We went to badminton later. And in-between I've been reading this book that I don't really want to put down.

Am fost azi pe pilot automat. Du-te aici, fă aia, hai, pleacă etc. Ne-am văzut cu J să o sărbătorim un pic mai devreme. Am mers la badminton mai târziu. Și printre ele citesc cartea asta pe care nu prea vreau s-o las din mână.

We bought carpet today!

And flooring.

We went to an actual store and ordered everything. It was such a peak adulthood experience.

It's super exciting. Now that we actually started the renovation, we can visualise it completed too. What was overwhelming a few days ago, now feels achievable. Let's get moving!

Și parchet.

Am mers într-un magazin și ne-am comandat de toate. A fost așa o experiență de adulți

Abia aștept. Acum că am început cu renovările, le putem și vedea complete. Ce era copleșitor acum câteva zile, acum pare chiar ușor de realizat. Hai să ne mutăm odată!

Night walk after a long day

Long day. A lot of stuff happening. One of the stuff was me going to another double Yoga class. This night walk was quite a nice way to wind down.

Plimbare de seară după o zi lungă

O zi lungă. Se întâmplă tot felul. Printre altele iar am mers la două ore de Yoga cap la cap. Plimbarea asta de seară m-a ajutat să mă relaxez.

Friday before a busy weekend

There will be little rest this weekend and the next couple as the priority is The Flat. It's super exciting and I can't wait to just relax there once it's all done and we've moved in. Until then, gotta keep the batteries charged just enough to push through.

Vineri înainte de un weekend plin

Nu prea am când să mă odihnesc acest weekend sau următoarele cât timp prioritatea e Apartamentul. E super entuziasmant și abia aștept să ne putem relaxa când totul e gata și ne-am mutat. Până atunci, trebuie să-mi mențin bateriile încărcate suficient cât să fie bine.

First reading sesh on the balcony

Waiting for contractors can be boring. Not when you have a balcony and a book. Then it's super fun. Enjoying this as much as I expected. Looking forward to many more books read on this balcony!

Să aștepți meșteri poate să fie plictisitor. Nu și atunci când ai un balcon și o carte. Atunci e chiar distractiv. Îmi place la fel de mult pe cât mă așteptam să-mi placă. Abia aștept să citesc multe, multe cărți pe acest balcon!

Autumn is here

Rain and crunchy leaves. Walking has become much nicer again and not melting anymore. Sadly I didn't take a proper rain jacket with me, but that's just me. Used to it by now.

Ploaie și frunze uscate. Plimbările iar sunt faine și nu mă mai topesc. Din păcate nu am avut nimic de ploaie cu mine, dar așa mai fac eu. M-am obișnuit.

Missed being in the office

Over the summer, the SU office gets super hot, so everyone avoids it. I also had some annual leave to take. Haven't been in for a bit.

I missed it.

Working from home is one thing, but being in an office comes with a different feeling. It's easier to be productive. And the coffee is great.

Mi-a fost dor să fiu la birou

Pe perioada verii, biroul de la universitatea la care lucrez se încălzește foarte tare, așa că toată lumea îl evită. Am avut și câteva zile libere de luat. N-am mai fost pe aici de un pic de timp.

Mi-era dor.

Când lucrezi de acasă e una, dar să lucrezi dintr-un birou e altă senzație. E mai ușor să fii productiv. Și cafeaua e grozavă.

Ok, some rest today!

Other than taking a big potted tree to the New Flat and a box of donations to Shelter, I just relaxed today. Reading and time with our soulparents.

I'm feeling much better today.

Okay, niște odihnă azi!

În afara faptului că am dus un copac în ghiveci la Apartamentul Nou și o cutie de donații la un charity shop, m-am relaxat azi. Am citit și ne-am întâlnit cu nașii.

Mă simt mult mai bine azi.
