π Manchester Village Pride is here!
This year feels especially meaningful as Manchester Village Pride returns to its community roots, centred around the Gay Village, run by unpaid volunteers and championing LGBTQ+ voices and local talent.
It was lovely to be in Manchester this week delivering our active allyship talk for .
We had a brilliant, engaged group sharing thoughtful ideas about what allyship can look like in everyday workplace situations, and it was great to hear that the session was so well received.
A huge thank you to everyone at MaxContact for such a warm welcome.
Happy Manchester Pride! π³οΈββ§οΈ

π It's been a busy Pride Month for the Queerify team, delivering LGBTQ+ inclusion talks and workshops across the UK and internationally.
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of delivering our Navigating Coming Out Conversations session for
Coming out is often seen as a one-time event, but for many LGBTQ+ people it's something that happens throughout life, whether with colleagues, friends, family or new communities. The way those conversations are handled can make a real difference.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined, shared their thoughts and contributed to such thoughtful and engaging discussions.
These conversations matter, not just during Pride Month, but all year round. π³οΈββ§οΈ

π³οΈβπ Happy Pride Month from Queerify π³οΈββ§οΈ
Pride is a celebration.
But Pride has always been more than that. It is also a protest.
And this year, that feels particularly important.
The UK has fallen from being one of Europe's leading countries for LGBTQ+ equality to the low 20s on ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Map. Recent developments have also raised serious concerns about the rights and inclusion of trans people.
Pride reminds us that progress is not inevitable. Rights can move forward, but they can also be rolled back.
At Queerify, we stand for year-round Pride. Inclusion is not a campaign for June. It is an ongoing commitment to creating workplaces, services and communities where LGBTQ+ people feel safe, respected and valued.
Happy Pride Month π³οΈβπ

π³οΈβπβ¨ We're proud to share some excellent news - Queerify has been named as One to Watch in the NatWest SE100 Impact Pioneer Awards 2026!
This recognition means a lot to us. The SE100, delivered by Pioneers Post and NatWest Social & Community Capital celebrates the UK's most impressive and inspiring social enterprises. Being named amongst this incredible community of other purpose-driven organisations is an honour.
At Queerify, everything we do is rooted in one belief: that every LGBTQ+ person deserves to feel safe, seen and celebrated - whether they're an employee, a customer or a service user. From our accreditation to our training programmes, we work hard to help create spaces where inclusion isn't just a policy - it's a lived reality π
Being recognised as One to Watch is a reminder that this work matters - whether it's showing up for the community or building a mission-led organisation, even when the road is tough.
And we're just getting started!
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us - our clients, our partners, our community and every person who has trusted us to be part of their inclusion journey. This one's for you!

π³οΈββ§οΈ Building allyship that makes a difference
This LGBTQ+ History Month, we partnered with F5 to deliver an interactive allyship session bringing colleagues together across Ireland, UK, India, and beyond.
The feedback? 100% would recommend it and want to learn more about LGBTQ+ inclusion.
What made it work? Creating genuine space for dialogue. When organizations prioritise real conversation about allyship, people show up ready to learn and engage.
Thank you to F5's EMEA Pride Chapter for championing this work π
Allyship isn't just awareness - it's building the knowledge and confidence to take action.

From Section 28 to inclusive workplaces π³οΈβπ
This LGBTQ+ History Month, we partnered with Allwyn UK to deliver a session on how we got from the silence of Section 28 to the inclusive language practices that build real belonging today.
The feedback spoke volumes:
β¨ 100% enjoyed it and would recommend
β¨ 100% want to learn more about LGBTQ+ inclusion
β¨ Breakout discussions created genuine connection across teams
"I've been to many inclusivity sessions. The speaker here was the most balanced and open to discussing how to change behaviour by genuinely encouraging psychological safety."
What worked? Mixing history, practical tools, and honest peer conversation. When people understand the why behind inclusive language, they can lead with confidence - not fear.
Massive thank you to the Allwyn Pride Community for making this happen π

π How to be an active and confident ally to LGBTQ+ colleagues?
This LGBT+ History Month, we delivered our Active Allyship training for Four Agency Worldwide - one of our accredited Best LGBTQ+ Employers.
Over 90 minutes, their team learned how to:
β¨ Use inclusive language with confidence
β¨ Turn good intentions into everyday action
β¨ Respond effectively to microaggressions
β¨ Become genuine advocates for LGBTQ+ colleagues
The energy in the room was incredible. Real conversations, practical tools and a team ready to create truly inclusive culture.
This is what meaningful DEI looks like - not one-off initiatives, but ongoing commitment to learning and growth.

π LGBT+ History Month is here and this year we're looking back at Section 28.
Section 28 banned the "promotion" of homosexuality in schools and public spaces from 1988 to 2003. It created a generation of silence, where being LGBTQ+ wasn't talked about, acknowledged or supported.
That silence still echoes in today's workplaces. In the hesitation before using someone's pronouns. In the careful avoidance of anything that feels "too personal". In the worry about saying the wrong thing, so people say nothing at all.
We're offering a special session this February: "From the Silence of Section 28 to the Inclusive Language of Today".
It's a practical session, not a lecture. Your team will leave with language they can use and the confidence to use it.
Want to bring this to your organisation? Drop us a DM or email [email protected]
What workplace moment made you realise silence wasn't neutral? π¬
π Inclusive Mental Health
Huge congratulations to Burton and District Mind for officially becoming an LGBTQ+ Safe Space through our accreditation programme! π
Over the past few months, theyβve worked with us at Queerify to:
β¨ Deliver team-wide training
β¨ Carry out a full audit of policies and practices
β¨ Receive and implement recommendations
β¨ Commit to continuous improvement
As a result, theyβve been awarded accreditation at the Silver level.
Now every LGBTQ+ person who reaches out to them knows they'll be respected, welcomed exactly as they are and supported without judgment π
