Long hot summer, Fodder best bits.

A little look back at the season. New makers welcomed to the fold, guest makers who travelled with us, a shopfront full of summer colours, and the smallest, sunniest corner of Hampstead we're lucky enough to call ours.

Shelves full of pots and scented geraniums, a bit of bunting watching, and the Hoya doing its thing right on cue.

And now, with one eye on the shorter days, we're planning for an autumn full of hope. More on that very soon.

This is how it starts. One bowl, then a plate, then the one you didn't plan to buy. A collection built slowly, piece by piece, until your whole table is made by hands you could name.

No rush. The best ones never happen all at once.

Here's to a good week ahead.

New work from Lily Pearmain is now live.

Lily's pieces are some of the most asked-about in the shop, and there's a lot to love in this new stock.

The mugs are back with new clays and glazes, a lovely terracotta, and some excellent summer cobalt and mustard stripes. New oval platters too, in a range of sizes, with beautiful pie crust edging and porcelain slip decoration.

There are also glorious sun wall tiles, exactly the thing for marking the turn from long summer days to shorter ones.

And one to plan ahead for. Lily's new dinner service samples are now in store and available to order, made to order, with a six to ten week lead time. If you'd like one on the table for the festive season, now is the time to get in touch.

Shop the collection online now, or come and see it in the shop.

Reaching for the weekend, one mug at a time.
Nothing like a Cara Guthrie Morning Mug for restful early moments while everything is still waking up.

The amazing Studio ERS Soup Vase, based on the shape of Emily's grandmother's soup tureen, got us thinking about statement vases, the kind that hold a room on their own, and show off those stunning summer blooms.

We have such a range at the moment, from the inky tones of the Soup Vase, to the crisp paper-like folds of the Bow vases by Amelia Christoffers, the glorious structure of Lily Pearmain's Doughnut Vase and the bulbous rounds of Anna Jones Ceramics' Moon Vases.

Tap to shop or pop by to see them in the clay.

Final hours of the summer sale. Some beautiful handmade pieces still to be had at some of the best prices we offer all year. These are pieces we love, but it's time to make way for some new works from our makers. Once they're gone, they're gone. Shop before midnight tonight, link in bio.

And a word on the plant. This is the Hoya, or Hindu Rope Plant, and it's one of the most asked-after things in the shop. The twisting waxy leaves, those clusters of flowers that look otherworldly. We see exactly why you keep asking and mostly why I have not stopped talking about it for over 7 years! A proper slow-growing, low-maintenance beauty. This guy was picked up on the one and only Columbia Road Flower Market many moons ago.
