LUXURY FINISHES

We receive SO many questions asking for clarity on our special finishes and the difference between them all. Using some of our recent emblem and logo designs let’s talk through them all…

FIRST UP: Letterpress

The absolute GOAT of special finishes in our opinion and unsurprisingly the most expensive due to the materials, time and setup. The ink is physically pressed into the paper using metal plates and creates this gorgeous luxury ink press finish - delicious!

Embossing invitations

NEXT UP: Embossing

Available with ink or as a blind embossing as shown. An incredibly artistic way of producing text, super luxurious and great for adding logos of emblems to multiple pieces.

THE WE HAVE: Hot Foil

Available in multiple colours, this is a level up from your usual digital foil (which is just surface printed). As per the other finishes a plate is created and the gold foil is pressed in giving a really stunning and effective finish.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: Blind Deboss

A (slightly) more affordable way of getting that pressed effect compared to letterpress due to no ink being needed. Again, a simple and minimalist way of elevating your wedding stationery.
