Recently, Palm PR hosted three journalists at Hovagimyan Hotel for an inside look at Istanbul’s newest luxury residence and the vibrant Karaköy neighbourhood.

The trip was all about experiencing Istanbul from the inside, with plenty of time spent exploring the city’s history, culture, food and design. We visited the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar, explored the streets of Karaköy and spent time getting to know the stories behind this fascinating part of the city.

Back at Hovagimyan, we enjoyed drinks and dinner in The Penthouse, with food from sen’den and incredible views across the Bosphorus, while getting to know more about the story, design and vision behind the hotel.

A brilliant few days getting to know a very special new hotel and sharing the stories that make Istanbul such an endlessly fascinating city.

This September, The Nest at The Feathers will welcome Oxford chef Marc Petit, Head Chef at Oxford’s No.1 Ship Street, on the 30th September to join Head Chef Luke Rawicki for the first of a new series of Four Hands collaborations.

For one evening, the two chefs will bring their different culinary influences together, creating a one-off menu centred around seasonal British produce, classical French technique and modern cooking.

With The Nest having joined the Michelin Guide last year, we’re very excited to see this new chapter unfold, and even more excited to see who Luke invites to Woodstock next.

Lakedown Brewing Co. has found a new Home 🍻

A taste of the East Sussex countryside has arrived in Portman Square, as Lakedown Brewing Co. joins Home House as its exclusive beer partner.

The partnership takes centre stage at the newly opened Cedric’s, London’s first pub within a private members’ club. Designed by renowned British interior designer Russell Sage, Cedric’s puts a fresh spin on the quintessential British pub, bringing together good food, great beer and even better company.

For Lakedown, the collaboration marks its first move into the private members’ club world, bringing its independently brewed beers from its family estate in Burwash, East Sussex, to the heart of Marylebone.
Here’s to a new Home for Lakedown in London. 🍺

We had an amazing time at the Black Sheep Coffee x Skateboard GB event last week, celebrating Black Sheep Coffee’s special Robusta blend, which naturally packs double the caffeine of regular coffee.

Black Sheep Coffee brought the coffee, refreshments and food, while SkateboardGB brought an incredible line-up of skaters who wowed us with some jaw-dropping demonstrations.

With fantastic DJs, great energy and plenty of coffee-fuelled skating, it was the perfect way to celebrate and we’re so excited for what’s to come as we welcome Black Sheep Coffee as our newest client.

Last week at Corinthia London bringing together hospitality leaders to discuss one big question: What does your highest spending guest really want?

One thing was clear: today's luxury guest is looking for thoughtful, personalised experiences that feel authentic—not manufactured. From seamless service to wellness and the small details that shape how a space feels, it's the moments you don't always see that leave the biggest impression.

A huge thank you to Sophie Maxwell Brown and Fabian van Dijk from WeWantMore for leading such an insightful discussion, and to everyone who joined us to share ideas and perspectives. It's always valuable to step away from the day-to-day and have honest conversations about where hospitality is heading.
