What does a humanitarian internship really look like?
Third‑year Global Humanitarian Studies BSc student Amy Chang shares her experience interning with Streetlight UK: a charity supporting women affected by sexual exploitation and violence.
From outreach and care‑package preparation to research and communications, Amy saw first‑hand how small teams create meaningful impact through personalised, long‑term support.
Her advice for other students: be proactive, look beyond LinkedIn, and reach out directly to organisations whose mission aligns with your values.
