Match day recap

Today's darts events in the First Focus Darts League saw intense competition across all divisions, with key matches influencing the standings in several divisions.

In the Superleague, TJ Field had a successful day, winning two matches. Field defeated Josh Henry 7-1 and Sean Whelband 7-5, which helped him rise from 6th to 5th in the standings. Josh Henry, despite losing to Field, managed to secure a 7-4 victory against Matt Clark, moving him up from 9th to 8th. Sean Whelband remained in 4th place despite his loss to Field.

In the Premier Division, Andy Cantwell edged out Biffo Biff with a 7-5 victory. Rich Linnen's 7-3 win over Trevor Summers propelled him from 8th to 5th place, marking the most significant movement in the standings. Biffo Biff moved up to 3rd place, overtaking Connor O'Driscoll, who did not play. Terry Peck and Mark Ansell drew 6-6, with Peck moving up one spot to 11th.

Division One saw Ron Thompson claim a decisive 6-1 victory over Andy Bryan. This win allowed Thompson to climb three places, moving from 12th to 9th, while Bryan remained in 15th position.

In Division Two, Rob Ellul's dominant 5-0 win against Adam Trower resulted in a significant leap in the standings, with Ellul moving from 10th to 7th. Adam Trower stayed in 16th place despite the loss.

Division Three featured wins for Samantha Storer and Mick Nobbs. Storer defeated Chloe Norris 4-1, advancing from 10th to 8th, while Nobbs' 4-2 victory over Robert Law saw him rise from 7th to 4th. Robert Law remained in 13th place, and Chloe Norris stayed in 17th.

In the KO Cup, Connor O'Driscoll triumphed over Lesley Browning with a 7-3 result. James Hunt defeated Dave Phillips 7-1, Ian Gallagher overcame Jamie Cantwell 7-4, and John Storer narrowly beat Jason Wiles 7-6. As no progression is scheduled, these results stand alone without further implications.

In the KO Shield, Dave Gammage achieved a clean 5-0 win against Dean Trower. Bradley Young narrowly defeated Freddie Foster 5-4, and John Storer Jr won 5-4 against Mark Trower. Luke Childs secured a 5-2 victory over Robert Law, while Bobby Foote and Luke Woods also claimed wins against Simon Boyse and Tony Gittos, respectively. Similar to the KO Cup, these matches conclude without further progression.

Great night of darts with great wins across the board.

In today's First Focus Darts League events, the Superleague saw TJ Field secure a commanding victory over Matt Clark, while in the Premier Division, Jason Kettley triumphed over Terry Peck. Division Two featured multiple matches, with Simon Boyse, Alex Wheeler, John Storer Jr, Rob Ellul, and Luke Woods all recording wins. Division Three matches included wins for Alfie Whelband, Josh Forsyth-Poague, and Tony Gittos. In the KO Cup, John Storer and Ian Gallagher were among the winners, with no further progression for any participants.

In the Superleague, TJ Field defeated Matt Clark 7-1. Despite this victory, there were no changes in the standings, with Charlie Mullen maintaining his position at the top, followed by Terry Goddard and Sean Whelband in second and third, respectively. TJ Field remains in seventh place.

In the Premier Division, Jason Kettley achieved a significant 7-1 win against Terry Peck, which resulted in Kettley moving up three positions to seventh place. The top three positions remain unchanged, with Paul Taylor leading, followed by Connor O'Driscoll and Andy Game. Terry Peck remains in thirteenth place.

In Division Three, Alfie Whelband's 4-0 win over Jordon Cooper helped him climb three positions to third. Josh Forsyth-Poague's 4-1 victory against Lisa-Marie Wells moved him up two positions to sixth. Tony Gittos defeated Ronnie Wettner Jr 4-1, climbing two positions to second. Yasmin Louise and Robert Law drew 3-3, with both players moving up one position each. Josh Fisher remains at the top of the standings.

In the KO Cup, there were no future matches or progression for any participants. Notable results included John Storer's 7-2 victory over Andy Bryan, Ian Gallagher's 7-0 win against Danny Hall, and Tony Sanderson's 7-4 triumph over Dominic Haynes. James Hunt achieved a 7-0 win over Ronnie Wettner, while Jamie Cantwell was awarded a home walkover against Mark Ansell. Other winners included Jason Wiles, Jerry Whelband, Lesley Browning, Tony Smith, Andy Cantwell, Sean Whelband, and Dave Phillips, all securing victories in their respective matches.
