We create pioneers. Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is the UK’s only conservatoire of music and contemporary dance.

Leaders in music and contemporary dance education, we also provide exciting opportunities for the public to encounter dance and music, and access arts health programmes. The unequalled expertise and experience of our staff and our world class facilities are housed in landmark buildings. In 2005, Trinity College of Music and Laban, leading centres of music and contemporary dance, came together to form Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, the UK's first ever conservatoire of music and dance. Our innovative course provision, exciting performances and groundbreaking education, community and social inclusion work make Trinity Laban a leader in the advancement of creative artistic practice. Our unique conjunction has created exciting opportunities for collaboration between instrumentalists, singers, composers, dancers and choreographers.

Looking back at last year, when we welcomed students from our partner institution Tisch School of the Arts, New York .

They worked with legendary choreographer Lea Anderson to recreate a section of her seminal work Yippeee!!!, and with the hip hop powerhouse dance company Boy Blue on a restaging of their 2018 project R.E.B.E.L.

We can’t wait to welcome a new group of students from this spring! They’ll be collaborating with our second-year BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance students and choreographers on Dance Legends 2026, restaging works by Boy Blue and Merce Cunningham, and working with Daniel Squire and Seeta Patel.

Interested in studying at Trinity Laban? Join our Open Day on 26 June to find out more about our courses, take part in workshops and tour our studios.
