Yaumul ahad | 23rd day of Rabee-uthaani, 1448 AH | Sunday, 4th October, 2026. *_ISLAMIC DRESS IS AN ACT OF WORSHIP_*. BismilLah.

My dear brothers and sisters, never underestimate the importance of how we dress. For a Muslim, Islamic dress is not simply culture or fashion. When we dress according to the commands of ALLAH Azzawajal, it becomes an act of worship.

Every time you choose modesty over the latest trend, and the pleasure of ALLAH Azzawajal over the approval of people, you are saying:
“Ya ALLAH, Your command matters more to me than what people think of me.”

Parents should remember that, our children are watching us. They learn more from what they see than from what we tell them. Let them see their mother and father embracing Islamic modesty with dignity and happiness. Teach them that modesty is not something to be embarrassed about. It is an honour. It is obedience. It is love for ALLAH Azzawajal.

Husbands and wives must encourage one another gently. Help each other towards what pleases ALLAH Azzawajal.

*_May ALLAH Azzawajal make our families people of haya, modesty and obedience, and may ALLAH Azzawajal make our example a source of reward for us long after we are gone_*. Aameen.

Yaum As-sabt | 22nd day of Rabee-uthaani, 1448 AH | Saturday, 3rd October, 2026.
*ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER TOWARDS GOODNESS, NOT CONSTANT CRITICISM_*. BismilLah.

As Muslims, we should ask ourselves: Am I helping the people I love become closer to ALLAH Azzawajal, or am I only pointing out their weaknesses?

ALLAH Azzawajal says:
“And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and transgression.” Qur’an 5:2.

Sometimes our husband, wife, children or friend may have a bad habit, become weak in their worship, delay their Salaah, stop going to the Masjid, dress inappropriately, or become distracted by the dunya. Our responsibility is not simply to criticise them. We should lovingly encourage them towards what pleases ALLAH Azzawajal.

A wife can say to her husband:
“My dear, can you please go to the Masjid. I want you to earn the reward of praying in congregation.”

A husband can lovingly encourage his wife: “My dear, let us protect our Salaah and make sure we pray on time. And let us dress in a way that pleases ALLAH Azzawajal.”

Parents should encourage their children to pray, tell the truth, respect others, give charity, help the needy, read Qur’an and develop good character, not merely because they want praise from people, but because we want ALLAH Azzawajal to be pleased with them.

And when someone falls into a bad habit, don't humiliate them. Help them overcome it. Remind them with wisdom. Pray for them. Lead by example. Celebrate their progress. And keep encouraging them.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Religion is sincere advice.” (Sahih Muslim).
But advice should come with wisdom, mercy and love.

Remember: constant criticism can make someone defensive, but sincere encouragement can open their heart. A beautiful Muslim family is not a family where nobody makes mistakes. It is a family where, whenever someone falls, the others help them get back up and together they walk towards ALLAH Azzawajal.

Let us become husbands and wives who strengthen each other's Eemaan. Let us become parents who raise children who love obedience to ALLAH Azzawajal. Let us become friends who remind each other of the Aakhirah. And let our motivation always be:

“I want you to become better not for me, not for people, but for the sake of ALLAH Azzawajal.”

*_May ALLAH Azzawajal make our spouses, children, parents, families and friends a means of increasing our Eemaan, correcting our weaknesses and bringing us closer to ALLAH Azzawajal_*. Aameen.

Yaumul Jumuat | 21st day of Rabee-uthaani, 1448 AH | Friday, 2nd October, 2026. RECONCILIATION BETWEEN FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS IS A GREAT ACT OF WORSHIP_*. BismilLah.

Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah brothers and sisters in Islaam. Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week.

Sometimes being the first person to make peace does not mean you are the guilty person. It can mean that you fear ALLAH Azzawajal more than you love your pride. You may have been hurt. You may feel that the other person should come to you first. But Islam encourages us to rise above our ego and seek reconciliation for the sake of ALLAH Azzawajal.

Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH, said: “It is not permissible for a Muslim to forsake his brother beyond three nights... and the better of the two is the one who begins with the greeting.” So, if there is someone in your family or among your friends with whom you have fallen out, do not allow pride to become stronger than your love of ALLAH Azzawajal. Send the message. Make the phone call. Say “I'm sorry.” Say “Let's resolve this.” Say “I forgive you.” You may think you are simply repairing a human relationship but you may actually be opening a door to ALLAH'S MERCY, FORGIVENESS and REWARD.

*_May ALLAH Azzawajal reconcile our families, heal broken friendships, remove hatred from our hearts, and make us people who bring people together rather than drive them apart_*. Aameen.

Yaum Al-khamis | 20th day of Rabee-uthaani, 1448 AH | Thursday, 1st October, 2026. *_TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM_*. BismilLah.

Islam teaches us that tolerance, patience, forgiveness and mercy are not signs of weakness, they are signs of strong faith and beautiful character.

ALLAH Azzawajal says:
“Repel evil with that which is better, and behold, the one between whom and you there was enmity will become as though he was a devoted friend.” Qur’an 41:34.

Sometimes people will hurt you, misunderstand you, speak badly about you, or treat you unfairly. But as Muslims, we are not commanded to respond to every hurt with another hurt.

ALLAH Azzawajal says:
“Those who restrain anger and pardon people, and ALLAH loves the doers of good.” Qur’an 3:134.

And the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam said:
“The strong man is not the one who can wrestle; rather, the strong man is the one who controls himself when he is angry.”

Brothers and sisters, Let's learn to give people room to make mistakes. You make mistakes. I make mistakes. We all need ALLAH'S forgiveness, so why should we be unwilling to forgive others? Tolerance does not mean accepting oppression or allowing someone to repeatedly harm you. Islam permits us to protect ourselves and seek justice. But where forgiveness and patience are appropriate, forgive for the sake of ALLAH Azzawajal.

Remember: one day you will stand before ALLAH Azzawajal needing HIS MERCY. So show mercy to HIS creation today. Maybe the person who hurt you needs your forgiveness more than you realise and perhaps you need ALLAH’S forgiveness even more.

*_May ALLAH Azzawajal purify our hearts from hatred, anger, arrogance and resentment, and make us people of patience, forgiveness, mercy and beautiful character_*. Aameen.
