Developed The Singing Village, a methodology for the practice and sharing of
collective vocal improvisation, including circlesinging. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and based in the UK since 2000, Guillermo has become one of the leading Circlesinging and Vocal Improvisation facilitators in Great Britain and Europe. His passion is to empower leaders, teachers, therapists and facilitators in embodied, creative music practices, and to encourage them to utilise Circlesinging and Collaborative Vocal Improvisation at the worksplace, school and therapeutic settings. He has studied with Bobby McFerrin and Rhiannon, and collaborated with Roger Treece, Albert Hera and other outstanding vocal improvisers around the world. For the last 15 years, Guillermo has been at the leading edge as a facilitator and mentored many musicians in the field of singing and music for health and wellbeing, having worked with Live Music Now, The Sydney De Haan Research Centre for Arts and Health, Breathe Easy and award-winning Breathe Arts and Health Research. As a vocal improviser,he launched in 2020 a collaborative vocal improvisation project: Anthropos - Songs of Humanity. www.anthroposensemble.com
He also holds a MMUs with Distinction in Ethnomusicology from SOAS, and alongside his vocal improvisation artistic projects he performs regularly as a vocalist with some established Argentine Tango orchestras in Europe: The London Tango Orchestra, Sexteto Cristal and Re!Tango.

After a long pause, we came together again last April- and you inspired us to do it again!!
Join us this coming Sunday Sept 20 to celebrate the music of the Río de la Plata — from the tango of Buenos Aires to the irresistible candombe rhythms of Uruguay- and honour the magnificent Ruben Rada who passed away recently.❤️🔥
Expect beautiful Argentine folklore, deep grooves, soulful voices, guitar, bass & percussion — plus old favourites and exciting new repertoire.

That's Circlesongs. This autumn we're gathering monthly in Hampstead and Highgate to sing, improvise, and be part of something bigger than any one voice.
You don't need to be a singer. You just need to show up.
