🎾 First time on the padel court — and the energy was unreal.

Our young people tried something new, got active, laughed, competed and supported each other along the way.

This is what positive youth wellbeing looks like: confidence, connection and new opportunities.

Big thanks to , and for making this happen.

More sessions coming soon… we’re just getting started. 🎾🔥

Cheddar Gorge, what a day! 🏔️🥾💚

A huge thank you to .peakcollective for organising such a brilliant trip and creating the opportunity for our young people to get outdoors, explore somewhere new, stay active and make great memories together.

RISE Projects was glad to come along and be part of it. We really value opportunities like this that help young people experience new places, build confidence and connect beyond their usual day-to-day.

Looking forward to working together again on future adventures.

The RISE Youth Team out in Tottenham.
We do outreach because support only works when people know it exists. By speaking to young people and residents directly, we can share services, listen to concerns and build trust where it matters.

Housing is not just about buildings. It is about dignity, health, family and stability.
Following our housing surgery and focus group discussions, we reflected on the key aims of the Somali Housing Needs Assessment research project with Community Regen.

This project is about listening to residents, gathering meaningful evidence, and making sure the lived experiences of Somali families in Haringey are properly understood.

For RISE Projects, this work is deeply important. Community-led research helps reach residents who are often left out of formal conversations but are directly affected by the decisions being made.

Our aim is simple: to ensure local voices shape better understanding, better support and better outcomes.

RISE Projects was pleased to host the latest VCS Thematic Workshop on Community Safety in partnership with Haringey Community Collaborative

The session brought together colleagues from the voluntary and community sector, Haringey Council insightplatform and local community members to discuss key community safety issues affecting residents across Haringey.

We heard important reflections on domestic violence, online safety, youth engagement, Islamophobia, and the wider challenges impacting safety, trust and wellbeing in local communities.

It was a valuable opportunity to share insight, hear lived experience, and explore how statutory partners and community organisations can work together to create safer, stronger neighbourhoods.

For us at RISE Projects, it was a privilege to host such an important conversation at our hub. Community safety is about prevention, trust, early support, partnership working, and making sure residents feel heard and protected.

Thank you to all the speakers, partners and community members who contributed to the discussion.

Black men are disproportionately affected by prostate cancer, with around 1 in 4 Black men in the UK likely to develop prostate cancer in their lifetime.

As part of our Stronger Men, Healthier Neighbourhoods project, RISE Projects delivered a prostate cancer awareness workshop to provide men with clear, accessible and potentially life-saving health information.

The session went really well, creating a safe space for men to learn about prostate cancer risk, early detection, symptoms and the importance of speaking to a GP.

Community-led events like this are instrumental in reaching marginalised and underserved communities with key health information in a trusted and culturally aware way.

We held a highly successful Bowel Cancer Awareness Campaign as part of the national “Help Us, Help You” cancer campaign, in partnership with North Central London Cancer Alliance

The session provided useful, potentially life-saving information to our community, covering early detection, signs and symptoms, NHS screening, local support services, and the importance of seeking help early.

Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK, but early diagnosis can make a significant difference. Bringing this information into a trusted community space helped residents ask questions, speak with health professionals, and build confidence around accessing support.

At RISE Projects, we are proud to support community-led health awareness work that helps reduce inequalities and improves access to important health information.

RISE Projects was proud to host a fostering information session in partnership with Haringey Fostering ! It was a really useful event, giving our community the chance to learn more about fostering from the process and requirements to the support available for foster carers.
