⚠️ Equine Grass Sickness: call for vigilance⚠️

We are seeing a recent increase in reported Equine Grass Sickness (EGS) cases and are urging all horse owners, yard managers, and vets to stay vigilant.

Here is how you can help protect your horses and support ongoing research:

🚨 Stay alert: monitor the International collating centre alerts, the EGS dashboard, and regularly check the EGS risk map for local alerts.
🌿 Take extra care: use heightened precautions on premises or fields with a known history of EGS.
📋 Report cases if you suspect or confirm a case. Please submit it to the EGS Fund reporting page. Logging cases and contributing to the Biobank is critical for research breakthroughs.
🛡️ Review preventative management. Simple management tweaks can help lower risk on your pasture.
