After so many years with us, it’s time to say goodbye to Billy. ❤️

We’re going to miss having you around on a Saturday morning so much. The place simply won’t be the same without you.

It’s been amazing watching you grow up with us over the years, and we’re so proud to have been a small part of your journey.

Whatever you decide to do next, we wish you all the very best. We know you’ll be brilliant.

Today we say goodbye to one of the original PQA Richmond students. ❤️

Ellie first walked through our doors at our very first Open Day back in 2015, and for the past 11 years she has been with us every step of the way.

It has been such a privilege to watch her grow from the young girl who joined us all those years ago into the incredible young woman she is today. We couldn’t be prouder of the person she has become.

Now she’s heading off to take the fashion industry by storm, and we couldn’t be more excited to see where life takes her.

Thank you for being such a special part of the PQA Richmond family for the past 11 years. We wish you nothing but happiness, success and the very best for this next chapter.

🎭✨ WELCOME TO THE PQA RICHMOND TEAM, ATHENA! ✨🎭

We’re delighted to welcome to the PQA Richmond family, where she’ll be joining our Wednesday Academy as our new Musical Theatre teacher! 🎶

Athena is a professional Musical Theatre performer and teacher, originally from Northern Ireland. Her passion for teaching began at just 18, when she qualified as a Speech and Drama Teacher.

She went on to train at Italia Conti, graduating in 2024, before completing a BA in Professional Arts Practice at the University of East London in 2026.

And Athena is already very much part of the PQA family! ❤️ She joined PQA in 2021 at PQA Windsor and currently teaches Musical Theatre at PQA Bethnal Green on Saturdays.

We’re thrilled that she’s now bringing her experience, energy and passion to PQA Richmond on Wednesdays.

Athena is passionate about helping young people build confidence, creativity and performance skills — while developing a lifelong love of the performing arts.

🎭 WEST END MUSICAL MASTERCLASS WITH CARLA DIXON-HERNANDEZ! 🎭

We’re delighted to welcome Carla Dixon-Hernandez to PQA Richmond for two very special Musical Theatre Masterclasses! ⭐️

Carla Dixon-Hernandez made her professional and West End debut as Alice in Matilda the Musical at just 11 years old, before going on to perform in the West End revival of Annie.

She then originated the role of Lydia Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire the Musical, performing the role in both Manchester and the West End, and was nominated for a Stage Debut Award for her performance.

Her recent credits include Mona in Mona Loser at Birmingham Hippodrome and Portia in the UK premiere of Something Rotten! at Manchester Opera House. She has also appeared on screen in Genius for Hulu/Disney+ and the feature film Degenerates.

Carla brings a wealth of experience across theatre, musical theatre and screen, and we’re looking forward to our students getting the opportunity to work with her, hear about her experiences and learn from her approach to the industry.

At PQA Richmond, our students are fortunate to be taught by a fantastic team of working industry professionals, and we’re always excited to bring in new voices, experiences and perspectives for them to learn from.

We can’t wait to welcome Carla to Richmond! 🎭✨

What an incredible day filled with outstanding performances, beautiful costumes, fantastic makeup, enchanting live flute music and the unique magic of outdoor theatre.

Our students should be so proud of themselves. They threw themselves into every moment, brought the story to life and captivated the audience with confidence, creativity and heart. 💚

And we're not finished yet... there's so much more to come! We have plenty more photos and special memories from all of our academies that we can't wait to share.
