in London today for my first full distance T100. Normally do the Olympic.
Can't thank the organisers enough for there care/organisation and great courses.
Lots to learn for me if I want to carry on racing this distance 🤔which maybe I do.
Great people out on the course and so much support from mates racing ( shout out to your first race) and many others.
.f for support especially when I thought my body could give no more on lap 4 of the run💪❤️🥵
Lumpy swim but loved it especially being so looked after by the safety team.
Bike ( think I took the first two laps to fast ) third lap had to sell my soul to the devil as the heat and gust of wind decided to say hiya.
Then the run ohhh what fun for my quads who decided to become wooden 😜
Everything is possible with some grit and determination.
During my bike there was two athletes out training ( not to do with this event) one was blind and the other was leading ,they gave me some banter and great athletic cheer.
That's when I knew why I do these things!!!!
Because I am privileged I still can ❤️
Swimming in the open water is amazing in this hot weather .
Do it in a organised place.
Never alone
Wear tow floats
Float to survive if you get into trouble
Don't swim under the influence of drink/drugs
Keep safe 🙏💪❤️

Race T100 Triathlon World Tour so just testing my amazing trisuit from ZONE3 and it's fabulous 😊💪
Loving the colour,the fit and I think it made me swim faster ( well something needs to )🤪🫣
Never use new kit on race day
Always strike a pose I mean a session in the kit to make sure it's all good.

Join us this Wednesday 22nd July for a peaceful Soundbath experience in our beautiful setting.
• Open water swims from 5.30pm
• Soundbath begins at 7pm
• Hot drink and a nourishing snack included
Ease into the evening with a gentle swim, then settle into stillness as the sounds carry you into deep relaxation. Surrounded by nature, it is the perfect way to reset, restore and reconnect.
