Honestly, these models are awesome! Gnarly, bloody, grisly, heretical, spikey and rusty, they were an awful lot of fun to paint and now I need to go to the shops and restock on my blood and rust paints!

“After an eternity away from you all, Jack of Blades is back…”

I can now reveal a little model I’d been working on as part of Flesh of Gods 5th Anniversary Painting Competition, the Faceless Knight!

Inspired by Jack of Blades from Fable one of my all time favourite video game villains from a franchise I absolutely adored, and he is making a return in their new game! I vocally cheered when I saw him striding through the flames! I had seen that Microsoft was doing a special edition with a Jack statue but I had arrived too late and they were sold out, so having my own one to now look at will be a lovely replacement, and maybe one day I can get an official one myself 😁

This was actually my prize from winning their previous competition, and I thought what better opportunity is there than now to print him off and get some paint on him. For any of you who know the inspiration, he is one of my favourite villains of all time and it was fantastic to finally put paint to model and get him done!

Rugrats are the same kind of rats right?

Been on a bit of a painting spree recently and getting lots of work done, whilst on a paint and chat with my discord last night, I decided to paint something for myself and picked up this Grey Seer that’s been sat on my desk staring at me.

I’ve wanted to paint it since I saw it announced and am chuffed at how it’s come out. Yes there’s probably more I can do, but for one session, I’m pretty chuffed!

Hello hello hellooooo, deep in the dark pits on .minies mind is this absolute Queen, the Daemon Matriarch, and centrepiece of the Daemon Damzels 2 Kickstarter.

So much sass, character and details, and bringing it all together was a lot of fun and incredibly rewarding, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did painting it.

Goodness Gracious, Great Flamin’ Minotaurs! Nailed it…

As part of grand final competition , we were given a choice of four models to paint up. Having recently got really back into God of War, I was immediately drawn to Theron the Vicious as his sculpt reminded me of one of the trolls. After the algorithm dropped some of videos in front of me, I was inspired to try and recreate one of his lava scenes.

Thank you to .official and for putting together a great competition, to and everyone who offered advice of areas I was missing or could refine, I’m overjoyed with how this piece has come out, and hope you enjoy it too!
