Every week looks a little different at Beautiful Productions... and that’s exactly how we like it.

This week we’re proud to be supporting the Royal Television Society North West in our sixth year as Production Partners, with the RTS North West Awards entry deadline extended following incredible demand. It’s brilliant to see so much amazing work from across the region being celebrated.

We’re also getting ready for our second Hollyoaks Set Tour. After such a fantastic response to the first event, we’re excited to once again work alongside the Hollyoaks team to give guests an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of the UK’s most iconic TV productions.

Away from the events, we’ve been meeting with venues, suppliers and creative partners, developing ideas for future projects and continuing to turn concepts into experiences.

From television and live events to creative production, no two weeks are ever the same—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

The future is definitely VISUAL!

Did you know, we are into our 6th year as proud event partners for the Royal Television Society North west!

And last night the North West once again proved it’s at the forefront of the future of broadcasting. With Hugo spritz’ in hand (courtesy of VIVID )
we listened to amazing insights into everything from getting your podcasts off the ground to monetising content in the world of Visual Podcasts.

The audience sees the final production.

What they don’t always see are the hundreds of people behind it.

Every production is powered by an incredible team. Producers, directors, production managers, camera operators, editors, lighting and sound crews, designers, technicians, runners, freelancers, hospitality, security and so many more.

Each person brings something different, But each role matters.

After years working across television, film and live events, we’ve been lucky enough at Beautiful Productions, to witness that collaboration up close, and it’s one of the reasons we love this industry so much.

Some of the most memorable moments don’t happen on stage or on screen. They happen behind the scenes. Watching talented people solve problems, support one another and work together to create something truly special.

The finished production may last a few hours, but it’s built on weeks, months and sometimes years of hard work from people whose names the audience may never know.

So here’s to the people behind the productions.
The early starts.
The late finishes.
The problem solvers.
The creative thinkers.
The people who make the impossible look effortless.

Manchester knows how to put on a show. ❤️🐝

And few venues have been part of more unforgettable moments than the AO Arena.

Recently, the Beautiful Productions team headed behind the scenes for meetings and a tour of this iconic venue. We had a closer look at the arena, its transformed facilities and the new event spaces shaping its next chapter.

For so many of us, this building is part of Manchester’s story. From its days as the MEN Arena to the AO Arena we know today, generations have walked through its doors to experience huge concerts, live entertainment, sporting events and moments that have stayed with them long after the lights went down.

That history matters. But so does what comes next.

It was fantastic to see first-hand what continued investment and development can achieve here in the North West… evolving an iconic venue, creating new possibilities and ensuring Manchester continues to compete as a destination for major events and experiences.

Having spent years working across Manchester’s TV, film and events industries, we’ve had a front-row seat to what makes this city so special.
The people. The ideas. The ambition. The venues. And that unmistakable Manchester determination to keep moving forward.

We’re proud to work in a region with such an incredible creative heritage and even more excited by what’s still to come.
Manchester never stands still.

Take That … What a TOUR 🎪🤹‍♀️🎠

We ( Mercedes Crescenti bentheproducer Julie Kavanagh ) were able to catch this incredible show at the Etihad Airways in Manchester

As a creative production company we love to be reminded why live events are so powerful.
Every element, from the creative direction and choreography to the performers, music, lighting and staging, came together to create something truly unforgettable.

A huge shoutout to choreographer Adrian Gas , Few people get to witness a journey like Adrian’s. From commercial dancer to one of the UK’s most respected choreographers, it’s been an absolute pleasure to watch his talent, creativity and hard work take him onto the world stage.
Adrian never fails to deliver and, with the Take That Circus Tour, he’s done it again and alongside Creative Director Kim Gavin and Assistant Choreographer L I Z Z I E G O U G H , this show is another masterclass in live performance.

One standout moment? Relight My Fire. Just when you think the show can’t get any bigger, the choreography reaches another level with an unforgettable tap routine atop a giant drum. Pure theatre.

And a special shoutout to for the greatest Elephant Tail performance we’ve ever seen. 🙌

Congratulations to every member of the cast, crew and creative team. Productions of this scale don’t happen without hundreds of talented people working together, and the result was something truly special.

It’s always inspiring to leave a show not only entertained, but reminded of the creativity, collaboration and craftsmanship that make our industry so unique.

About last week …

On Thursday we had a double event day, we had the pleasure of joining the team at for their ‘Christmas in July’ showcase, getting an exclusive first look at everything they have planned for the 2026 festive season. ✨🎄

From beautifully styled tables to an incredible seasonal menu curated by Chef Niall Keating Niall Keating, every detail was a reminder that Christmas celebrations are all about creating memorable experiences. It was fantastic to see Manchester’s hospitality industry and local businesses coming together to celebrate what’s to come.

A huge thank you to the team for such a warm welcome. We’re already looking forward to seeing tender Restaurant filled with festive celebrations later this year.

Congratulations to everyone involved, including the brilliant local partners who helped bring the space to life. It’s always inspiring to see Manchester businesses collaborating to create something special.

The future of content creation is being built right here in the North West. 🎬✨

This week, the Beautiful Productions team Mercedes Crescenti, Ben Swift and Julie Kavanagh spent the day at THG Studios, and we left feeling genuinely inspired.

From world-class virtual production and broadcast facilities to photography studios, podcast spaces and creative production at scale, it’s an incredible example of what happens when technology, creativity and storytelling come together under one roof.

But what impressed us most wasn’t just the facilities, it was the people.

A huge thank you to John, Richard and Cat for the great meeting, the tour and the brilliant conversations. It was fantastic to hear more about the vision behind , THG and the exciting work happening across the campus (including the team behind the Smash Padel courts!).

We’re proud to be part of such a collaborative creative community and always leave days like this with fresh ideas, new connections and plenty of inspiration.

Here’s to championing the North West creative industry and hopefully collaborating together soon. 🚀

We know it’s not a decision that and the board took lightly and for that reason it feels
even more significant.
