People often leave prison without financial support or a home to go to. When Bryan* joined Barnabus' resettlement programme after leaving prison, he faced an uncertain future.
Over the next year, Barnabus helped Bryan by offering him supported accommodation. During this time, he volunteered with another local charity and discovered a love for support work.
He's now living in his own home and works as a social worker, supporting others going through hardship just as Barnabus supported him. You can read all of Bryan’s story at the link below.

We have great hope in our new Prime Minister's commitment to end rough sleeping nationally.
We've heard the scepticism and the arguments against his pledge. But what if we allowed ourselves the permission to believe in a fairer, better country for all of us?
Andy has seen and heard first hand the trauma faced by people who end up on the streets. He understands the complexity of unravelling decades of tick box legislation. He knows the system is broken.
We're encouraged that in his first speech, that his first commitment is to the men, women and even families who find themselves destitute and having to sleep in a dangerous and unforgiving environment.
If we listen and are willing to be part of the change, we could really do this.
