On Saturday six members of March Ladies accepted the challenge of joining fellow players from Stamford and Peterborough to play a friendly match against Bourne and S&L Corby.

The composite team was a blend of ladies who were competing in a match for the first time to some more experienced players. Everyone contributed hugely to a cohesive and organised team whilst learning at the same time and resulted in a comprehensive victory.

Non playing teammates turned up to lend vocal support and encouragement reinforcing the great team spirit within this group

October 17th see's some of our ladies team and coaches taking to the sky over Twickenham! Attached to a zip wire Val, Casey, Lee, Nancy and Stacy will take flight to raise funds for Maddy's Mark and the March Bears Ladies team.

They are self funding the experience so that all the money raised goes to the two causes.

Maddy's Mark is a charity that supports the mental wellbeing of girls and young women by building resilience, confidence and camaraderie. Founded in the memory of Maddy Lawrence.

March Bears Ladies would very much like their own equipment such as sub coats rather than having to borrow from the men's team.
