The Grove ❤️
This week at Grove we shall be starting on some Autumn themed crafts to help full up our Autumn display board. We hope to collect some natural seasonal objects to use alongside this. If anyone has any additional conkers / acorns please feel free to bring them in 🍂🍁
If the weather remains bright we should still be spending as much time as possible outside to enjoy every last bit! 🌤️

In Grove news…..
This week has been full of sports! 🏀🥏🏉🏏🥎Children have been completing their school sports days, we have been able to play outside now it’s cooled slightly and we have continued to follow the World Cup ⚽️
The children were very excited to watch the England game alongside tea last week 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
We have also enjoyed lots of crafts and baking 🎨✍️🧁
This week we shall enjoy our last full week before the last 4 days of term ( after school club closed Friday 17th)
We have some cupcake baking and ice lolly making planned, alongside Grand Prix and Tour De France activities 🚗🚴 As well as some outside time as always.
Reminder we do still have some lost property looking for their owners.

The Grove 😊
We have had a busy few weeks since half term so apologises for lack of posts!
We are fully in the grips of football fever since the start of the World Cup. There are so many conversations about the games, scores and players. It's lovely to see some of the children so passionate about it! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆
With that we have been busy completing our score sheets daily and making our own football lists and dream teams🏃🏃‍♀️‍➡️
Some of the children have taken to becoming their favourite players during the many football games ⚽️
Apart from football we have enjoyed being outside and utilising our garden space in every weather. This week looks to be very hot 🌞 so outdoor play will involve some water tables as well as some code board games inside.
We have a few unnamed items in our lost property if your child is missing something please let us know as we may have it.

❤️Grove update…..
Children have chosen to spend lots of time outside. They have played in the construction areas digging and moving stones to create roads 🪏 🚧 They’ve also been bouncing around on the mini trampoline, taking turns and ensuring everyone had a go.
Inside we have been completing lots of painting and junk modelling 🎨🫟🖌️Creations spanned from cars/boats to different types of musical instruments 🥁 🪇
This week we look forward to the last week of term. Where we will take part in a bee hunt and bee crafts for World Bee Day 🐝, also creating some turtle paintings for World Turtle Day 🐢
