π Meet the Transport Members: Ironstone Pantry π Lazenby Village Hall
This week we're shining a spotlight on Ironstone Pantry, based at Lazenby Village Hall. The pantry provides affordable food and essential items to local residents, helping to reduce food insecurity and support the community.
π Recently, Ironstone Pantry used two of our minibuses for a trip to Kynren in County Durham, where members enjoyed the spectacular live outdoor show. Experiences like these provide opportunities for people to get out, socialise, and enjoy memorable days together. β¨
π A huge thank you to our two volunteer drivers, who generously gave up their time to make the trip possible. Our volunteer drivers play a vital role in helping local community groups access activities and events across the region, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support. π

Earlier this week, Sam had the pleasure of attending the Volunteering Network Meeting at Teesside University.
It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the support available through Volun-tees and the wider University, while connecting with organisations that share a passion for volunteering and creating positive impact across our communities π«
The event provided a valuable space to network and explore new opportunities for collaboration. It was inspiring to hear about the incredible work taking place across the region and discuss ways we can work together to strengthen volunteering opportunities for everyone π«±πΌβπ«²π»
A huge thank you to the team for hosting such an informative and positive session!

The Tees Valley is home to dozens of thriving villages, farms and rural communities, but rural crime can have a significant impact on people's livelihoods, wellbeing and sense of security.
This week we're supporting National Rural Crime Action Week and joining the conversation about keeping our rural communities safe and ensuring rural voices across the Tees Valley are heard.
Whether it's theft from farms and rural businesses, fly-tipping, damage to community spaces, wildlife crime or scams targeting rural residents, we all have a role to play in looking out for one another.
If you witness rural crime or notice suspicious activity, please report it to Cleveland Police. No piece of information is too small.
π¨ In an emergency, call 999.
π For non-emergencies, call 101 or report online through Cleveland Police's dedicated reporting service, which includes a specific option to report rural crime π»
π€ Rural communities are strongest when we work together.
