Two problems with this lady’s toe nail.

1. A long toe nail that’s started to curl over.
An easy fix by trimming the nail and smoothing it off with a file. 👏🏼

2. The brown clustered area mid-nail.
A little conversation with her husband about it and advising him to get it checked by a GP when able.

It’s not always a ‘simple trim’. This lady is a paraplegic. She requires extra time and carers to help. ❤️

Good morning,

I am now back to work after a lovely, relaxing two week break with my family. 💚

Sadly when I turned my phone on yesterday I had a, not so nice message of someone trying to contact myself for an appointment. With my phone being off and the individual unable to reach me he obviously did not like it so left an abusive message. It’s really not acceptable 😞. I am human, a very sensitive human too and I am also allowed a holiday.

BUT on a positive note I upgraded my bag 👇🏻, isn’t it pretty. ☺️

And breath.. 💜.

Time to have fun with my family 🩷.

⚠️ Please be aware – Redcar Beach

A group would like to make people aware of a very upsetting incident at Redcar Beach last night.

The group has visited the beach for the last couple of years and has always made sure to take their rubbish home and properly put out and clear away after their fires and barbecues.

Unfortunately, while a member of the group was allowing her son to have a little run around, he came into contact with hot BBQ coals that had been left behind on the beach. The child was injured and suffered burns as a result, requiring treatment at hospital.

It is extremely disappointing that someone could leave hot BBQ waste behind without considering the danger it could pose to others, especially children.

Please, if you are using the beach, make sure all BBQs and fires are completely extinguished and that all coals and rubbish are taken away with you. Please leave the beach as you found it and think about the potential consequences of leaving anything dangerous behind.

Let’s all show a little more care and respect for Redcar Beach and everyone who enjoys it. 🙏

🚨 🌟 Emergency Call Out 🌟 🚨

I received a call off a gentleman saying his toe nail was ‘hanging off’. He had stubbed his toe on the door 😣 and knew something wasn’t right. And he was right 👏🏼

I trimmed the nail back slowly, cleaning it along the way. A tiny piece of nail is still attached which I left firmly in place as it was sore. Area cleaned, advice given and a weekly check in from me going forward. 🦸‍♀️ Not all hero’s wear capes, the majority wear scrubs 😜

I returned back to work today after a lovely week off.

My first week of annual leave starts now. 👏🏼

I am on my way to Kendal Calling festival to spend sometime in a field, not quite a beach but it will do! 💃
